Starting in September 2021, they has been a HUGE uptick in spam being targeted in this group. The volume has been so large, even Reddit Corporate contacted us making sure we're okay. Most of some variants of "Free Readings - Type ME to get it" etc. Most are bots, do telling them to bugger off isn't going to do anything or hurt any feelings. Just report, downvote, say "SCAM" in the comments and move on.

Yes, these are all scams trying to get around spam filters. It blows my mind that if we don't catch these in a few hours there are dozens of people saying "Me!" in the comments. In life, and in reddit, everyone needs to learn how to "Vet" information, to see if it's genuine or not:

If one goes to the official Windows 10 May 2021 Update page and download the tool to get the latest windows, it downloads version 10.0.19041 (October 2020 Update) ISO NOT 10.0.19043 (May 2021).

Just tried it again this morning. (June 22, 2021)

It's never done that before. It's been over a month since release (May 18th) and whenever they announce a new one, the latest tool (MediaCreationTool21H1.exe) has always has downloaded the latest version in the past.

But not now. Anyone know why?

If I want a clean install, I want a clean install... Not have to download a huge patch point blank...

I have a semi-broken HP ScanJet N9120 Document Flatbed Scanner (Product Number L2683A) that I am troubleshooting. The Service manual talks about some software, "N9120 Service Tool"

Websites that claim to download it, just redirect to HP.com

Any repair techs or anyone else able to get me a copy somehow?

I was talking to the Microsetta Initiative peeps and they don't have any information on what information their report contains besides generalities. They are working on a "sample" report, but I mean I'd like to know what the report contains. Like how specific it is to what strains are in there, etc. Is it comparable enough for my needs vs having a lab do it like Genova diagnostics at three times the price, etc?

Does anyone have a report they can TOTALLY anonymize or something and share? (I don't care about your demographic info.)

I have three (3) Vizio 40” 4K TV’s & a 960GTX. Since my GPU has 3 DP and 1 HDMI, I use 2 “active” DP to HDMI cables (That yes support 4K @ 60hz - These are the actual cables: Cable 1 - Cable 2 ) I chose 2 different manufacturers for troubleshooting purposes, for an instance just like this.

100% of the time, when I boot, the HDMI to HDMI monitor is @ 60HZ. (the 60hz will follow the cable just fine)

But 90% of the time when

I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro. 2 months old. Always in the case, never dropped, etc. Rooted it to Pixel Experience just fine. I'm tech-savvy-ish. Used it for a few weeks. Loved it. A few missing features, but nothing huge. I did notice that I couldn't turn it off AND keep it plugged in. Whenever I plugged it in, it turned back on. Again, no biggy.

Battery life went to Zero and it shut off. Plugged it back in.

White LED lights up and stays lit the entire time it's been plugged in.

Screen turns on in 4 seconds (still 100% blank, all black, but I can tell it's "on", no logo, no text, nothing)
