Remember that whole Normandy_Invasion fiasco from a couple months ago? What ever happened with that? What was the big announcement? Did someone become a millionaire overnight? Did he ever make any donations to the community?

Seems like sometimes you guys have some luck and get some free silver. I thought I'd give it a go today and got $185 in dimes from my bank. As I'm going through them I noticed that some of the 'solid rolls', where both ends have the factory sealed hole opening, had already been opened. One end had the standard hole opening and the other was clearly opened and then folded back. I counted some of the dimes from these rolls and they were all $4.80 or $4.90, and a few of them had some pennies shoved in there.

Had I not found two silver dimes i would have been quite livid. I just counted them and I have $181.60. So basically, I almost broke even. A friend at work today joked that I literally go

I was reading a story the other night about some woman who miraculously recovered some stolen silver due to some odd coincidence (sorry, I forget the details). Then I thought 'Well, why don't I just stamp a personal mark on all my bullion', say, my initials and perhaps a number as well. That would make it much easier to identify as my property if it were ever stolen. Thoughts?

I sold most of my gold and silver hoard back in 2011 that left me with little more than a few war nickels and that proof ASE. I had been stacking since the early 2000's, but the rush from all the cash was short-lived. Hopping back on the train at less than $20/ozt. feels right :) Happy Stacking to you all!

A month ago I created this post which garnered very little attention where I was looking for some ideas on how to get a suit to wear to my friends wedding. Erin really came through for me, and by some miracle, her husbands suit was a perfect fit and I didn't have to have it altered. Pics!

One of my best friends is getting married in a month and I have nothing to wear! I've already paid to get there and have a hotel to stay in, but I don't have anything left over for a suit. I live in the North Shore, Massachusetts. It's a formal attire wedding, so I can't just wing it. If anyone has a coupon or some deal or some unused suit that'd be nice. I don't have exact measurements at the moment but I can probably figure that out if you need that info. Thank you r/assistance!
