I got into this game in February and got into the MU competition game almost immediately. It's been pretty fun working with the few people who also play the game for MU but it seems like most of the players don't. Lately, I have noticed that most of the trouble we get is from our own team throwing random links that block our usual layers around town. My teammates just flip card the links or wait for them to decay if there are a lot. We put up guide links when we can do minimize this. We ask people in a friendly manner to not link in certain areas but while this works for some, the majority continue to do so anyway - many of these players are "veterans" of the game with level 16 ac

Is it almost non-existent? Almost no one is streaming on Twitch during the late evening PST timezone. Last night I couldn't even queue into anyone in casual mode. Anyone else on the west coast experiencing this?

I'm wondering if anyone will stop doing 100-gem in favour of 3000-gem 11-pulls when G5 comes along.

Statistically, it is still better to do the 100-gem pulls as they are 1/3 the price but with 3000-gem pulls you can focus on certain banner and get something guaranteed instead of spreading the pulls on all the banners. At the same time, this would mean waiting for a pull every 30 banners (around 15 events or around 3 months) if you want to use the same amount of gems.

Lucked out by grabbing Apocalypse Shield for Basch on Banner 4 and am now having trouble fully optimizing my team to new power levels.

Here is what I have right now:

• DPS1: whatevs
• DPS2: whatevs
• Y'shtola: Curaja + Memento of Prayer / SS2 (mako rm)
• Ramza: Full Break + Breakdown / Shout (mako rm)
• Basch: Lifesiphon + whatevs / Apocalypse Shield
• RW: Keeper's Tome (shellga, protectga, mirage, shitty burst commands)

This is great and all but the Keeper's Tome kind of bothers me and doesn't seem optimal. Instead I want to use Y'shtolas Omnirod Aetherial Pulse (shellga, protectga, heavy regen).

However, what do I equip for Y'shtola in her second slot now? Diaga? Wrath? E

We should be getting the Record Dive system pretty soon. In Japan it dropped on 1/28/2016 during the FF14 event which should appear in Global in early July.

Seeing as we get these QoL features early in a lot of cases, anyone have any predictions for when it will come out?

I'm hopeful that it may come out just before the Kuja event as the event is stagger/delayed by 4 days from the usual 7-day event cycle. I am hoping this means that there is a huge patch and maintenance during the time when the Kuja event would have normally been released. This would be May 23rd. Here's hoping!

I recently updated my banner draw probabilities spreadsheet and wanted to share it. This sheet gives you the percent chance (rounded up 2 decimal places) that you will draw 1 of X desired relics off a banner given the amount of 11-pulls planned.

2 Seperate tables: 1 for standard 7-relic banners and 1 for Celebration and FFT 9-relic banners.

I have updated my spreadsheet with a number of new features. Hopefully this helps some people as much as it helps me personally. Feel free to make a copy for yourself to use some of the features. I try to keep everything updated as the game progresses.

Did some analysis on my options for spellblade for the upcoming Omega Boss. Since your 2 Stop users can use 2 of Esuna/Boost/Curaja you need 1 of your spellblades to slot this (and curaja/curaga is out of the question). Since we don't have Water of Strength, we cannot use this instead of boost. You will want to slot either Esuna/Boost on one of the spellblades while the other can have a filler skill or something that adds more DPS (self-boost) such as Steal Power.

Here are the comparisons:

(Level 50 stats for comparison purposes - add ~2 ATK per level above 50)

SB is Legendary Harmony which reduces all enemies damage done by 75% magic and 72% physical (affected by break resistance). Sentinel Grimoire reduces damage taken by all party members by 60%. Both have the same duration (based off MND).

People who have Tyro with SG in their party will want to use Mog as RW to just shut down all damage. Otherwise, no one will want to use this RW but having the SB in your group (and the cute Mog - when he gets an MC) would be very nice.

Cons: Affected by break resistance (probably). Sub-par for multi-phase fights due to having to reapply.

Any other pros cons?

Just leave those babies in there until you need to use them or have enough inventory space. Remember that they will only be there for around 30 days though.
