Dear Amazon, I've welcomed your device into my home for the convenience and utility it offers. I dare say I've paid for the privilege to do so. However, I will absolutely immediately unplug and force a hard reset every damn time it displays a commercial. It pisses me off.

I was a the "IT guru / quasi-IT manager / sysadmin / knower of all things" for about 8 years at a mid-sized company (~200 emp). only 1 direct report. I've got about 25 years total experience in IT, mostly as a sysadmin/1 man shop. I quit in 2017 to focus on family. Got married, had a kid, covid struck, dad died, got divorced. Our financial situation meant I could stay home with my son (which was awesome).

Fast forward to now in 2023. I need my career back. I earned my CISSP back in 2018 (mostly just to prove something to myself). I never completed my degree (~70 units completed - mostly gen ed). I don't have any other certs, but I have a lot of experience with virtualization, networking

I just started playing WoT about a month ago. I started with the USA line before doing my research. I switched to the USSR line after getting really frustrated with the T20. I gotta say the experience grind is annoying. I'm up to around 600 games played.

I'm up to the KV-1 now. The standard build was horrible. Painfully slow in every way. I was finally able to upgrade it to the 57mm gun. It was a massive difference.

What do methods or technologies do CERT groups use to communicate with their teams for things like an initial activation/alert? How about operational/tactical coordination & communications?

Our team uses a combination of google voice (for SMS), email and facebook. I think SMS is the best method, but I've just discovered that google voice limits group messages to 7 people. A good group text option or broadcast opt-in type SMS alerting platform would be great. I'm still doing research and I'll post my findings here.

I was messing with bios overclock settings (setting them to less extreme to help with overheating) and rebooted my pc. After reboot, the os failed to start and I realized I didnt see the raid bios slash screen. I reverted my changes (from saved profile) and restarted. The array bios appeared again, but it had dropped the second disk in volume0 (os volume). Yes, I was living dangerously with RAID0. Any ideas how to add the second disk back to the stripe and salvage this?
