if we're "debating" with people who think the world is 6k years old, they're definitely not going to wade through, or understand, explanations that are this verbose and long winded.

A guy brought up "polystrate trees" which I had never heard of, so I went to my favorite anti-creationist website and found a jumble of words that I couldn't decipher. http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/polystrate/trees.html

A. Can anyone explain simply why prolystrate trees are a non-issue.

B. Is there another site that's easier to link to? (more pictures, perhaps)

We got married last April. She needed to replace her car.

in all the excitement of having two incomes and new love, we picked a car that has a payment larger than we should be paying.

We're looking to downgrade. We've been told that the difference in price of selling outright and trading in is minuscule (due to taxes etc). Also, I'm really good at haggling and figure that would be a good tool to haggle with (I got 2 grand over the kbb value last time we traded in).

Advice?

edit: real numbers:

car is worth on kbb 31k trade in. loan is 25k. we're looking to get a new car for around 20k

Wife and I would like to go to Europe and we're open on when we can go. (though I dont think we can afford to go during the world cup, though that'd be awesome). Her only request is to goto Rome. We're considering landing in England and then traveling by train to Paris and then Rome, spending two or three days a piece.

We're not sure when to go.
