My MIL is looking for a credit card which she can link to Google pay for making payments. Her use case is primarily a whole bunch of micro transactions from rickshaw wala to sabzi waala. She was using normal UPI linked to her bank account so far but all the recent scams have got her spooked and she doesn't want to expose her whole bank balance to UPI.

Any suggestions?

Hello, month old MRCC owner here. I'm trying to buy my wife something from nykaa and thought i would give the reward multiplier site a try. I've tried putting my card and CVV in there for a couple of days but it keeps throwing me an error. Any idea why that might be? And what can be done to fix it? To be clear, I'm using the amex app that opens the web page.

The error just says "Sorry... There was an error while processing your request. Please try again later." No further context

Sorry for the curt sounding title. I couldn't fit a more polite way of wording in the 61char title limit

A lot of the discourse here seems to focus on who I am, what kind of person I want, what I do and don't deserve, what should and shouldn't be my expectations, what are the red, green and amber flags etc.

But i never get to hear why people want to get married in the first place. Well, except from the ones who are being forced by their parents.

Do you folks ask yourself this question at all? And what are your responses to that?

For e.g. I wanted to get married because I craved a sense of belonging and acceptance. I need a person i could call my own. I wanted someone I could love and wh

TL;DR - The argument that household chores should be divided in the reverse proportion of income split doesn't work in the real world. Unmarried folks here need to stop viewing marriage as a services contract, and focus on adapting to the situation.

I understand where the argument comes from. As more women enter the workforce, the line for gender roles is being redrawn. The current view - if X makes more than Y, then Y needs to compensate through increased household activity is born out of both parties' need to define expectations and task breakdown.

Seems fair right? If I work and make the money and you do nothing, you do everything around the house. Or if I make double your income, you

Curious to know what the community thinks about Sonny so far this season. Personally have loved owning him in seasons before last as he was a decent mid template player that did my rank a lot of good. I don't think Liverpool are a deep red fixture with our defence showing some vulnerability and his fixtures after that are quite decent. Plus (not so important, but) i enjoy watching him play

Pros - in form, playing centrally, attacking team, nailed starter, no European distraction Cons - had a bad last season, coming off early in games, price

What bothers me about son the most is the opportunity cost. As a haaland and Salah owner, owning son means its going to most likely be at the expense o

Basically I want to get a bit smarter about how i can maximize my benefits by getting the right card.

Annual spend on card: 6-8lpa Major Spend heads: clothes shopping, eating out/ordering in, one domestic or foreign vacation with spouse in a year, groceries in-store or on swiggy. Salary: In hand 2.35 lpa per month approx

I have a salary account with HDFC and a family wealth thing with ICICI. My research suggests that regalia gold is good, but for some reason I am not pre approved for that card. Before i storm into the bank and demand it, i wanted to check if there's a better card suited for my needs. I've used ICICI rubyx but it feels like a donkey card in terms of benefits and wanna canc

I jumped on that card last month when my earlier card expired and was excited about the cashbacks. I've made a few transactions but can't see any cashback credited. Am I doing something wrong? When and where does the cashback get credited?

I'm not talking about the truly abhorrent stuff here like Salman killing someone (allegedly) or Sajid sexually harassing someone (allegedly). Those instances deserve condemnation.

But aren't we a bit too harsh on relatively harmless stuff? Like when Kareena says she's not a feminist or when Sonam "woo-hoos" it? Why does that seemingly throwaway comment become a lightening rod here for essays on women's struggles? Another throwaway comment from Kareena (toh mat dekho na) is taken so personally by people on here and is constantly used as a stick to beat her privilege with. I don't even like RK but didn't we react far too sensitively on Alia's behalf when he called her fat when pregnant? Alia

Hello - I forgot two items at the checkout of the duty free store in the arrivals area of CSIA. These are items which were billed but the lady on the cash counter forgot to put them in the bag i guess. I've written to their customer care already, but am wondering how high my expectations should be for a refund or retrieving my items. Anyone has any experience or suggestions for this?

M, 33 here. I've always had short hair, because I'm lazy and slightly paranoid of using styling products. Trouble is that while I generally have very nice and thick hair, it grows in a "bear like" way. At about 2in, it starts curling slightly (in different directions too), and refuses to sit. This is where I usually give up and get a haircut.

Right now it's over 3in and I kind of like it. But I'm assuming it needs some sort of care now so am wondering what that might mean.

Hair profile - Slightly wavy when long. Not exactly frizzy. There's a fair number of whites that are definitely frizzy and more stubborn than the rest. Stays in place when wet, flies around and curls when dry. Scalp is n

So I've been at my current company for about 6 years. We're in the enterprise AI services business. I've done well enough - the company has been generous with promotions, increments and giving me mobility to change teams.

However as a result, I've sort of become a handyman at my company with no real depth. It's kinda my fault because I've gravitated towards the next cool/interesting role without giving too much thought towards long term career planning. And I do get bored easily so I move often.
