I've been out of the game loop for most of the summer and forgot about the planned leave from Activision/Battle.net. I successfully transferred my account to Steam on Oct 8, and Steam is showing the game, all the DLC I've purchased (Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken, and an Expansion Pass). I've only played the first two, haven't even touched Forsaken and today when I launched D2 none of those DLC campaigns are showing up in game (or aren't labeled anymore as DLC parts). I still have access to Mars and Mercury, but, I'm not sure where Forsaken is (I'm seeing Tangled Shore and Dreaming City, no idea what those are) and I'm also missing the extended earth campaign. The only main branch I'm se

I haven't tried on a base 7.7 installation, but upgrading a 7.6 VM to 7.7 rootless containers with podman don't work out-of-the-box. There's still some configuration to be done. Personally was hoping for a RHEL 8 experience of everything just working, but it probably would if it wasn't an upgrade that would alter pre-existing configurations.
The only documentation I've found so far are the following, but something in the RHEL 7.7 docs themselves would be nice. Not sure if Atomic's instructions are 100% applicable, or if the preview is still accurate from 7.6.
Celebrating Red Hat, IBM, and our commitment to open source
developer.ibm.com/blogs/redhat-ibm-open-source/Just curious to see if anyone’s made the jump to RHEL 8 for production usage yet. For anything in prod, really, doesn’t have to be a complete upgrade. I’d even count the UBI containers ;)
I’d be interested what you’re using it for.
Currently only the X1C6 (to my knowledge, on the US site) has the option to select 16GB of on-board RAM. However I spoke to a sales rep through chat that the option should be coming back in a few weeks. The new systems however only offer a single serviceable RAM slot so here's a list of current 32GB (1x32) DDR4 2666MHz SoDIMM modules that should theoretically work with these systems to achieve the higher 40GB and 48GB memory counts*.

I read that the BIOS on the HP machines are locked down and don’t allow a lot of control, including hard locking the RAM speeds to 2400MHz, regardless what is in them. I was considering getting the Envy x360 15z with a Ryzen 7 3700U, then replacing the memory with 16GB of 3200MHz RAM from Crucial (or more from another vendor). Are the RAM speeds locked on these models?
I’ve been eyeing the T495 for about a month now as I think it’s time to foray into some AMD based systems to try them out. I’ve got a few days left to make a choice (falling back to the T490/T480) but am curious if anyone else is looking at this system. Hoping it releases before mid June.
The limit of 1080P and no TB3 were a bit of a bummer compared to their Intel counterparts. Though the performance of a Ryzen 7 with Vega 10 should be more than enough for what I’m looking for in a travel dev box. I’ve read through some issues with the previous AMD offerings from Lenovo with single channel/slower-than-Ryzen-required memory and cooling, and I’m hoping these are solved with this generation. M
Hello! I'm planning on purchasing a new laptop, the Lenovo T495, that'll come equipped with a Ryzen Pro 3700U APU and Vega 10 integrated graphics. This will be the first AMD based system I've ever owned, so I wanted to make sure I go into this prepared. When it comes to drivers, I'm aware that there are two main implementations, one in Mesa (so no real work required) and the other in AMDGPU which would require manual installation. For a system like this, is there any reason to go with the AMDGPU drivers?
Just trying to understand what to go after and expect, coming from an non-hybrid Intel/NVIDIA desktop.
Over the past week whenever I startup Discord I would get a "Well this is awkward..." crash menu with a reload button. Starting today, it no longer works (after a few tries it would previously let me in). In checking the devtools on the page (although it would be nice if these things were output to the system console instead).
Uncaught (in promise) Error: /lib64/libc.so.6: version \`GLIBC\_2.18' not found (required by /home/user/.config/discord/0.0.9/modules/discord\_zstd/discord\_zstd.node) at process.module.(/anonymous function) \[as dlopen\]
Can changes like these be posted somewhere? This isn't the first time this has happened (previously with LLVM)
Is it at all possible to build RHEL container images on a non-RHEL host (Fedora in my case). I’m going to be traveling for the summer and I’m looking at the Lenovo Y740 which I would put Fedora on (I’m aware the T series is RHEL compatible). Most of my workload I put through containers, particularly RHEL ones.
To my knowledge Docker/Podman utilize a sort of passthrough for subscription-manager to access the host’s subscription. This obviously doesn’t exist on Fedora, so is there anyway besides virtualization to do this?
Does the following guide from Patrick Uiterwijk still stand?

It’s been some time now since the release of U3 so I thought I’d pose the question. What do you all think of 2018.3? Is it stable, are you having issues that existed in previous versions, issues that are new, what-have-you. Just looking for general feedback of the community.
I’m currently running a project and we’re still on 2018.2 as it’s pretty stable for the most part. Looking to see if U3 would be worth the upgrade. It’s got a nice bug fix list and a couple of new features that would be nice to have.
Note: I’m talking purely about core Maya. Arnold is not to be included in the discussion, as it’s developed separately.
Disclaimer: Not sure if this belongs in r/learnpython. Spaced out when I posted this. Just say if it is and I'll move it there.
Hello!
For a project I'm working on I had to build Python from source. Doing so was easy, but now I'm running into issues when actually running the build. For example, if I import math I get the ill-fated ImportError: No module named math. I've done quite a bit of configuration so I'm at a loss of what's going on.
Some pre-reqs:
=============
OS: RHEL 7.5 Workstation
GCC: 5.4.0 (built from source)
Python: 2.7.15 (built from source)
configure flags: --prefix=$installdir, --with-threads, --with-lto, --enable-shared

I realize another post has been made about two weeks ago, but as I finally got to see it a few days ago I wanted to say thank you to all who worked on it. Really hit it out of the park with this film and kept the story going.
Most of the audience in my theater stayed for the end credits scene. A large majority of them (including myself) were laughing at the length of the credits (in a dumbfounded "holy shit" kind of way) once the VFX credits started. Made me feel good and want to have my name up there one day. Usually I feel like the artists don't get credited enough (and this debate has been public for some time) but was there anybody left off that list?
Great job everyone!
Hello! I'm currently working on a small rigging/animation project and I have a question about pose morph tags. For some reason I decided to do eye poses and mouth poses using two different tags (on the same mesh). This causes problems when animating the two different sets as verts will snap back to the 'base pose' of the eye set when moved. Is it possible to merge the two sets together? I've already tried copying to no avail, and it would be nice to not have to redo the poses / export head meshes and create poses from that.
Cheers!
