You were an empty glass
And I was water
So I poured myself into you
I filled you at first
But you had cracks
And I seeped through them

You were an empty glass
And I was water
So I poured myself into you
I filled you at first
But you had cracks
And I seeped through them
Mr.Man’s a mystery dude
His upper lip hidden
By his smooth combed ‘stache
When he smiles
His chest hair
Demanding freedom from his t-shirt
As it reaches out to say hello
When he places his fuzzy mouth on mine
He leaves behind a hair or two
Yet he remains alluring
We ride his motorcycle
His hair and mine billowing in the wind
Leaving bushy smoke behind us as we cruise
I am his pretty lady
My only rule for him:
He may never shave.
I could be
a colorless ghost
of my wild self:
Perfume lingering
like a kiss
Breath as soft
as an ocean breeze
Embrace surrounding you
like warm steam
My voice as slow
as thick caramel
I touch you
like liquid velvet,
But with a laugh
like poison
I leave you cracked
like porcelain on the concrete
Your lips cold
like ice
Your breath nothing
but a dying whisper
Suffocated by the smoke
of the fire I leave behind.
Your voice is unable to escape the flames.
I leave you in decay
shattered like glass.
