I, like most of us, spend my entire work day in front of a monitor. I spend most of my time in a terminal, coding/scripting, or managing systems from a text terminal, and referencing spreadsheets. I'm currently running a Dell U2713HM (IPS, 2560x1440, 27"), and I had a great experience with a 32" WQHD curved Dell Ultrasharp. It's a little pricey, so I'm considering the Dell S3422DWG to replace my U2713HM. I've never worked on a VA display. Anyone have any experience in this area with IPS vs VA displays?

I've seen several site which claim cats and rabbits can be buddies, so my question is, have any of you successfully introduced your cats and bunnies?

We have an eight year old bunny and an eight week old kitten. Can they be successfully introduced? If so, how?

I know r/circlebroke is here to complain and release some steam about the state of Reddit, but I think it important to concentrate on the positive aspects every once in awhile.

igotanewwatch shows us the light, points out that not everything needs to be turned into a meme.

The great thing is that he (currently) has double the upvotes of the poster requesting a new meme.

I've heard the current generation is much, much better than previous generations. A neighbor of mine is planning on getting one. He hasn't shot a lot, so I'm encouraging him to whore around a bit before he settles.

Opinions? Any owners out there of current and past generations of the Sigma line? All opinions are welcome and appreciated.

Also, what firearms are similar to the SW9VE and worth a look?

I don't see a lot of questions here, but I think there should be a good number of knowledgeable rat owners out there.

I have a female rat with a respiratory infection. I don't think she's going to live very long, but I'd like to treat her. She's now easily a thousand dollar rat given the vet bills, but I don't want her to die of a respiratory infection. She beat cancer and all the previous respiratory infections, so I have a question.

Is Baytril in liquid form from the vet the same as Baytril Otic? It seems to be the only liquid form of Baytril available. If not, what's the best way I can treat her?

Any input is welcome, and thank you for your time.

Well, our GSP's died awhile back. The tank has been cycling for about a month now. We just left it running.

Tonight, I turned the light on and my girlfriend found a trumpet snail that managed to survive on whatever's been growing on the rocks and glass. Then we found three more. They've definitely increased in size since we dropped them in.

What's the likelihood they're breeding in there?

Thinking about picking up some figure eight puffers and trying again. Thoughts?

I'll be completely honest, and some of this will make some people cringe, but I need the advice.

My girlfriend and I picked up three juvenile Green Spotted Puffers a little while ago. We just transferred them to brackish water, salinity was 1.004 at the last test. The pet store sold them as fresh water fish, something I'm coming to understand is pretty common.

One of the fish looked like he had a little bit of torn flesh, but now it looks more like a fungal infection than anything else. It's not slimy. White growths all over the poor fish.

This is the best picture we were able to get. It looks slimy in the picture, but it resembles your common green kitchen mold more than anything else, e

I'm over it. Does someone know where to find a modern comparison of different brands, weights, and factory loaded defensive rounds? The key here is current generation jacketed hollowpoints in 9mm.

More importantly, what do the people with real world experience have to say about performance from modern JHP rounds in 9mm?

First, there was Kellerman and then another study published in the Oxford Journals.

My take on both of these is that the researchers are drawing correlations between firearms ownership and "violent death" without proving causation.

The Oxford paper doesn't seem to go into why the deceased owned firearms, it simply draws a correlation. In my opinion, this is nowhere near enough research to actually indicate that simply owning a firearm automatically increases your risk of violent death.

Am I interpreting this correctly?
