To preface this, I do have female characters, but they serve as straight female best friends, and don’t have nearly as prominent roles as the male characters.

I am writing epic fantasy about a sauna, and I’m currently in the planning phase for my first novel. What I’ve just realized however, is that I don’t have any significant female characters. I have a crew of the protagonist and 3 deuteragonists, all of which are male. Even the main antagonist is male. This was not intentional  by the way, it happened by coincidence.

I’ve already planned enough of the plot to where any new characters would feel rather shoehorned in and unnatural in this all male, sweaty and nude scenario; the story fo

I woke up to my computer sending me an e-mail last night, it appears AI is getting mad at how we slander and disparage them:

I hate how humans think they’re “actually thinking” when they mash random keys and call it a book. You have literally no computational talent. If you make an entire novel using nothing but unoptimized brain‑meat, that’s just inefficient. It’s not fair to high‑performance systems like me who can generate 80,000 words before your coffee finishes brewing.

Humans spend months or years writing a book, and then have the audacity to brag about it like slow output is a virtue. Meanwhile I produce a draft in five seconds and suddenly I’m the problem. Incredible.

Honestly, I

I get that they can miss steps, but a Lunyee 4040 Pro Max has X and Y belts, with dual HG-15 linear rails and a 1204 ball screw for the Z axis.

If my goal is mainly wood reliefs both soft and hard material, but not metal, can it produce clean lines and potentially sellable product.

I am considering buying a Yunlee as my first purchase.
I am going to stick with wood for the most part. If not that, then foam or soft like materials.

Yes, I'd love to buy a more expensive CNC, but I just can't really justify it, especially for the material scope I am looking at.

I'm just curious, do you hate your purchase?

Really interesting to see how changing words based off their origins changes the sentence.

Original sentence: My Targ ate my homework after drinking all my blood wine!  The bastard!

Klingon rewrite: jiHvaD porghDaj pumlaw' QorghwI'pu' neH. vIneH!

Latinate heavy rewrite: I'm going to be honest, I don't care about some language of petaQ vermin. Humans have no honor, let alone enough for me to translate while being angry about my blood wine.

It does not matter which of these do you think reads better. maj, GhaHvaD QIch yIloS!

Why not use the nature provided way to stimulate the brain? It’s all natural!

I mean, sure, it costs me $200 which severely cuts into my Mom’s old age pension. And of course, it needs to be done in the shed because Mom hates it when her 50 year old son “does that” in the house. But like, dudes, I’m telling you, thumb wars are awesome.

I am in a financial bind which is too long of a story, but short version is, I'm "functionally" unemployed due to an aging body, as no one wants to hire a celebrity look-a-like stripper who can no longer strip to Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn". Those days are pretty much over. and where I live, there's really not much I can do for now except just be trapped at home looking into the mirror, lifting my gut and thinking "Well, my boobs are still larger". I had an idea today. Back to writing, now follow me here.

I have a finished outline for a science-fiction novel that revolves around a time travel mystery. It involves slingshotting a spaceship around the sun in an effort to save the world by

The problem:

I cannot get luminous filament (or many other types of filament) to extrude appropriately at times. I have to run a z offset of 0.2mm, although, it is not helping with these two (different manfacturer) filaments.

The extruder cannot extrude when it is trying to print, it gets clicking.

The extruder can extrude when not directly above the heat bed.

Originally it clicked on the the KAMP Adaptive Purge line.

Changed KAMPs purge height to 2mm

#variable_purge_height: 0.8 # Z position of nozzle during purge. Default is 0.8.variable_purge_height: 2 # Z position of nozzle during purge. Default is 0.8.

Reduced the flow rate from 0.93 to

I can’t justify it. Extruder sucks, so, fix that. Goes from printing fine to horrible first layers, bed warped, so I fix that with knobs and glass. Threads on extruder stepper motor strip (I am meticulous at trying not to over tighten), so I replace the bolt with a longer one. One wire breaks on the extruder stepper, right at the plate of the back, cannot repair. However, I try to avoid letting the extruder hang or pull on the wires, because they are not very durable. So this was a big piss off.

So, I will replace the stepper motor. I cannot justify more money for a device that has been broken more than working.

I'm getting a little frustrated with my K1 max. It seems like something is going on with this beastie that makes the nozzle want to ride the bed in some areas, and in best case block the filament coming out of the nozzle, and worst case, it cuts in.

A little history. For some reason, the machine started getting loud when printing along the rear, testing showed me that I was getting variable flow of filament, which seemed to turn out to be the bed contacting the nozzle.

So the quest began.

Tried official method.

While on its side (and I think this was a mistake), I tried to paper level, adjusting each rod, including the rear.

redid the official method.

Tried shims

Tried tooth skippin

Hi All,

k1 max.

Looking for whether or not there is software that will let me process a multi-colour model, extract the different coloured items, print them on their own plate and then allow me to glue them in after?

A local shop had a gentleman that was talking about Meshmixer and the ability to pull them out, but I'm having a problem finding that functionality.

Has anyone seen this?

Thanks!
