This is the final update to my previous posts showing the word counts of Bookworm along with various other novels.

Here is the bar chart with the word count of each book. Obligatory warning that the vertical axis does not start at zero and so exaggerates the differences.

I heard some good things online about this shop so I decided to do a firearms transfer through them for an online order. Everything went smooth so I decided to also do an ammo transfer with them last week before the Rhode v. Bonta decision.

I went in today to pick it up and I knew they wouldn't charge me the $1 background check now but they also didn't charge me the ammo transfer fee either. It would have been reasonable for them to ask me to still pay it considering they had to accept the delivery and it was taking up space in their shop and employee time to give it to me, but they didn't charge me anything.

Their main business is gunsmithing which I can't comment on, but I still wanted t

I'm a little bit baffled by the lack of information that I'm able to find about Miguel Gonzalez (FamilySearch). I was able to find lots of sources for his wife Maria Guadalupe Ocegueda Casillas (FamilySearch) and their children, but unfortunately there is not a single mention anywhere of Miguel Gonzalez. I only have the name Miguel Gonzalez from the granddaughter of this couple; I haven't been able to find any sources to confirm this but I also have no reason to doubt it.

One thing that has been very confusing is that all of the baptism records for the children

This is an update to my previous post which I made after the release of P4V9. I figured making an update after each new novel release would be a bit excessive, so I waited for five novels in Part 5 instead.

μακάριοι οἱ πτωχοὶ τῷ πνεύματι (Matthew 5:3)

Commonly translated as "blessed are the poor in spirit". I'm looking for help in understanding how this breaks down grammatically.

My understanding is that οἱ πτωχοὶ is a substantival adjective and is the subject of the sentence and that μακάριοι is in the predicate position and so μακάριοι οἱ πτωχοὶ can be translated as "the poor are blessed".

Then the best explanation for τῷ πνεύματι seems to me to be a dative of respect that describes/restricts the aspect in which the poor are blessed. So then this overall may be rendered "the poor are blessed in spirit".

This does not really clash with the common English translation in terms of meaning, ho

[P5V2p4] Noble Euphemism Theories

SpoilerJ-Novel Pre-Pub

At the end of this pre-pub, Clarissa is told

Clarissa, if you continue this, then you will become Ewigeliebe upon losing Erwaermen

which causes her to immediately stop her rampage and fall into line.

I wanted to post my theory for what this means and ask for other people to post their theories here as I'd like to see other opinions on this.

My theory:

Erwaermen seems to mean something like "warm up" in German and we also just learned some important information regarding Ewigeliebe earlier in this pre-pub, and even from Dunkelfelger as well. Namely that Ewigeliebe is Mestionora's father and that she was given dark hair and golden eyes in order to hide her from him. Perhaps what warms

There are five pirates (call them Pirate 1 through Pirate 5) that have come across 100 gold coins in booty and are trying to split it among themselves. The rules they have agreed to are as follows: Each pirate has a ranking designated by their number, 1 is the lowest ranked and 5 is the highest ranked. The highest ranked pirate will make a proposal for how to split the 100 coins among the pirates. All the pirates will vote to approve or reject the proposal. If the proposal is rejected then that highest ranked pirate that made the proposal will be killed, and the process repeats, with the new highest ranked pirate making a new proposal. The proposal is approved if it receives at least 50% of

I've been meaning to make something like this post for a while, but ultimately decided to wait until the end of part 4 so that it could be a little more comprehensive. Now that the light novel for P4V9 has released, I can finally go ahead.

Firstly we have a bar chart showing the word count of each book. I could just give a table of numbers but a picture is so much easier to understand at a glance.

Word Count vs. Book

Notice that the vertical axis does not start at 0 so the differences are exaggerated.

  1. Let F : X -> Y be a function with an interesting property: for any set W and any two functions g : W -> X and h : W -> X, if F º g = F º h, then g = h. Prove that F must be injective.
  2. (Harder in my opinion) Let F : X -> Y now be a new function with a new (similar) interesting property: for any set Z and any two functions g : Y -> Z and h : Y -> Z, if g º F = h º F, then g = h. Prove that F must be surjective.

Reminder: Injective (one-to-one) means that if F(a) = F(b), then a = b. Surjective (onto) means that for any b in the codomain Y, there is some a in the domain X such that f(a) = b.

Let A and B be nxn square matrices and let f(t) = det(A + tB). Find f'(0).

Hint: >! Try with A = I (identity) first, then try and simplify to that form. !<

Edit: You can assume A is invertible as well. B need not be.

It’s been mentioned a number of times that apprentice guard knights are only allowed to be on guard duty within the Noble’s Quarter. I assume this is because they’re still learning how to be guards properly, but either way this makes sense.

In Part 4 Volume 4, Judithe requests leave from Rozemyne in order to gather ingredients, which Rozemyne allows, yet she still seems to indicate that Judithe, as an apprentice, is not allowed to leave the Noble’s Quarter.

Judithe lives in the knight dorms, and it makes sense that she would not be allowed to serve as a guard outside the Noble’s Quarter, but is it really true that she is not allowed to leave at all, even when off duty? That doesn’t seem t
