Does anyone know of someone who does EoL photography on the Cape? I'm staying in Orleans this week with my two cats, and this is Scout's last vacation. She was diagnosed with a rare and terminal cancer a few weeks ago. I really want to have some pictures of her done outside/on the beach, because she loved it so much last year.

I lost two cats last year, one in August and one in September. Now my third got diagnosed with a rare and very aggressive lymphoma. I am trying to do chemo but recognize her time is very limited and the chemo is a hail mary. I don't know how to survive this again. I have been hardly holding on since losing her brother and sister last year.

In August of last year, I lost Farore at 15 years old. She developed aspiration pneumonia secondary to undiagnosed pancreatic adenocarcinoma and died of respiratory failure. 4 weeks later to the day, her brother Lint had to be let go after a valiant 4 year battle with small cell lymphoma that had become refractory. The remaining girl, Scout, started having some appetite issues in September but all ultrasounds, bloodwork, etc. was normal. In March of this year, she had an endoscopy and was diagnosed with small cell lymphoma via biopsies. She stabilized and went into remission within 5 weeks. She's been doing great as a whole; she's on a lot of supportive meds, but has been eating and gaining

Scout, 15, had an enema on Thursday evening. It's been 48 hours now and she hasn't had a bowel movement since the enema (but she also isn't straining/trying). They said that she passed a large amount of "rock hard" stool. What's interesting is she was still having bowel movements around this hard stool, with the most recent being a normal sized one Wednesday night into Thursday. I brought her to the vet because she hadn't been cleaning her plate like usual and was sleeping a bit more. Bloodwork was fine, x-ray only showed the constipation, and she had a normal abdominal ultrasound with her internist in the last 2 months.

I'm a bit concerned because she hasn't had a BM yet, and her vet said

Last year, I had a nervous breakdown - it was a vicious cycle that kicked off health anxiety, and I was so poorly off that I developed shingles in my early 30s. I hardly slept, cried nonstop, lost 20 pounds, etc. I had a sleep study performed within weeks of the nervous breakdown and due to sleep insufficiency and poor testing protocols, was misdiagnosed with narcolepsy (I had the study done due to constant fatigue from other health issues). The diagnosis didn't sit well with me because I really don't have the symptoms, so I scheduled myself to see one of the top world experts, and he immediately said he didn't feel the diagnosis fit, either. It took 5 months of waiting for a repeat study to

Here's the situation: my cat at home is 15. She's a young 15, still plays and loves going on adventures and even vacation. Her siblings both passed recently and I am looking for another cat as she is quite lonely. My leading two are:

A one eyed, shy kitten who loves other cats. She's very sweet but can be skittish. She is definitely young enough to turn around. This rescue is very attentive to their cats and they all were healthy looking. Those who were sick were being treated.

A very, very outgoing, bubbly older kitten who is a little skinny but coming from a shelter where the room she is in has numerous sick kittens. Diarrhea, upper respiratory illness, and one kitten was leaking mucoid

Lint was diagnosed with lymphoma in April 2021. He's 15 now. Since then, he came out of remission twice, developed diabetes and CHF (both stable/in remission), and had triaditis. In the last few weeks, his lymphoma has progressed. He was eating 5 cans of food a day and still not gaining. We switched his chemo and he had severe side effects and he hasn't bounced back. It's been a week since the side effects started and his appetite is still minimal to non-existent, despite appetite stimulants (and we have tried more than one). He's on every supportive medication. I hospitalized him for 2.5 days on IV fluids. His vet and an internist both said that there is nothing more I can do.

I'm struggli

Farore was 14 when she passed 3 weeks ago. It was a traumatic death. She had been sick for quite some time and we couldn't pinpoint the cause, between ultrasounds and biopsies and bloodwork. She ended up with a feeding tube and developed pneumonia. She died in my arms minutes after being discharged from the emergency vet - she went from stable to gone. Her necropsy showed the pneumonia but also a pancreatic adenocarcinoma which is very rare and hard to diagnose. Lint, her brother, is 15. He was diagnosed with lymphoma in April 2021. He had a relapse of the lymphoma earlier this year along with sudden CHF. He wasn't responding to chemo so we switched the chemo type and now he's really sick.
