I'm just throwing this out there as a data point in case it's helpful or resonates with someone else's experience.
Primary Physician 1 - never heard of VSS
Primary Physician 2 - never heard of VSS
Neurologist - Had heard of it, but I was their first patient with it
Ophthalmologist - Had heard of it, but I was their first patient with it
Rheumatologist - Has 4 other patients besides me with VSS
That seems wild to me. Of course this is just one data point, but I have to wonder if a good chunk of us are ending up at rheumatology for the muscular and body pain symptoms / comorbidities.
This isn't a big deal at all but it is something to be aware of. After installing the new DW firmware, my total uptime counter (total usage hours) was reset back to zero. I was just shy of 6000 hours before doing the update.
It's kind of like losing progress in an RPG because of save game corruption.
I figured this was coming soon based off of some other posts by people who have crossed the 1 year mark with their AW3423DWs and DWFs.
Unfortunately, I have developed visible burn-in on my AW3423DW which I first noticed at about 3975 hours (as reported by ControlMyMonitor). I’ve owned this monitor for 338 days which works out to an average of just under 12 hours of usage a day. Eco mode has been on since day 1 so this is a real usage number.
I’m not sure how long the burn-in has been there because it is pretty difficult to spot with any of the solid color burn-in check slides or IRE shades of gray. However, I completely noticed this by accident when my Wallpaper had a noisy shade of dark
I overslept this morning and instantly grabbed my phone when I woke up. The phone was displaying the alarm going off screen with the Snooze and Stop buttons but no sound was coming out. It wasn't counting down a snooze, and it wasn't in the state where an alarm plays quietly when facetime detects you are looking at it. There was no noise at all. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 16.4.1(a). I've been using the same sleep schedule alarm every day since I got the phone a few months ago with no issues. I just tried adjusting my sleep schedule to test the alarm and it went off fine.
Any ideas on how I managed to cause this? It doesn't look like there's a known widespread bug.
I'm having a strange issue with trying to use the ThinQ iOS app to control the TV. I just upgraded from an iPhone 8 plus to the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Both phones are on the same iOS version. Both phones are on the same ThinQ app version. Everything works as expected on both phones EXCEPT my new phone cannot turn the TV on. It can turn it off, and the old phone can turn it off and on. As far as I can tell I have the same Bluetooth and wifi network settings on both phones.
Here's what I've tried so far:
- toggling quickstart+ on the C1
- toggling the turn on via mobile settings on the C1. Both on, wi-fi only, Bluetooth only
- Memory optimizer on the C1
- Removed power from the C1 and held
This is just a heads up in case anyone else out there is going through the same thing. I've had TMD for decades but it had become much worse over the past year. It really started acting up shortly after I started mouth taping but I didn't put two and two together until a couple weeks ago. I recently stopped mouth taping and magically my TMD got much better. My theory is that the taping was holding my jaw in an unrelaxed position all night and was aggravating my jaw muscles and messing with my bite. I briefly tried putting the tape on while I was laying down and pushing my jaw back a little and it did help some. However, I've found things are much better without the tape.
As always - YMM
It took me 4 tries, but I think I finally got an acceptable one with minimal bubble wrap damage, an acceptable amount of fan noise, and no dead pixels. It's a July 2022 build. It still has the 102 firmware. There have been 0 changes in the packaging since day 1 as far as I can tell.

I know there are rumors floating around indicating that revised packaging is coming for the AW3423DW in order to address scratches to the screen during shipping. However, I received a May 2022 build today and it was the same old packaging which resulted in the same old scratches due to the bubble wrap. In addition to that, my unit had a dead sub-pixel. This is the 3rd one I've purchased and I have a local friend who has the monitor as well. All of the units I've seen in person have had many, many scratches on them.
I've posted some videos going into detail here:
Monitor 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Fod6lTsU20
Monitor 2: [https://www.
The AW3423DW has two fans. One fan runs all the time and the other only ramps up in bursts. This question is regarding the fan that runs all the time. I know some of you can't hear your fans at all. Consider yourself lucky and that this question is not for you.
Does your fan run even when the monitor is powered off by using the power button and not on standby? I've noticed that the fan is running when I come into my office in the morning even though the monitor is completely turned off.
Here's a video of me checking my 2nd AW3423DW for scratches out of the box. Spoiler: >!there are scratches!!<

Hey all - I have a new Boden Classic 6 Trem (Svarten) and the trem tuning stability seems to be all over the place. It's almost like there are 3 neutral points in place.
For example, lets say I bend the G string then release and tune it up. I can bend it again and end up in the same spot. If I pull the trem up, it ends up being anywhere from 5 - 20 cents sharp. It more-or less returns once I do a bend. When I push the trem down and release it will end up 5-10 cents out. Again, it more or less returns to where I want it if I do a bend.
I've owned many trem equipped guitars and I am used to the return from pulling up being out, but not the push down too. This means there is no real home base

UPDATE: I reached out to my sales engineer and he worked with me on making it right.

I'm assuming this is a fault in my 77" CX but I thought I would see if others have it and if it is considered normal. This is not impacting my viewing experience whatsoever, but I'm worried that it may be a sign of an underlying problem that is going to raise its head once I get out of my return window, such as a faulty power supply or bad mainboard.
While checking my panel uniformity with a 5% gray test pattern, I noticed 1 pixel high horizontal lines flickering in and out of the top few inches of the screen. This happens every 10-15 seconds or so. I've verified the lines are not in
