I have a memory of seeing photos of Sarah Paulson on set filming this show and then I read months later that production had stopped and the deal was off, but I can't find anything like that now. Maybe I just glitched out but I was curious how close this show is to the book.
I've read the book twice and there are a couple of scenarios in the Apple series already that I'm questioning for validity. I didn't know if Apple pulled directly from the book; I believe that had been the plan for the FX version. Apple tends to soap-opera it up sometimes but I was curious if maybe they pulled real stories from several sources.
Read any caretaker sub (teachers, parents, mommit) and they're just absolutely spinning in circles to avoid the most obvious way to end these problems.
Why won't any of them even consider antinatalism? It's the answer to every question there that ends up going absolutely nowhere. It's the end of every road. And it literally pains and affects no one to enact, and only saves the future of society.
I wonder if they would scoff at antinatalism and say "well that's impossible." Not for everyone, not for you the person claiming that. Go get fixed next week. Done. "Well that's unreasonable". Why? What exactly have they convinced themselves they're entitled to? This shit?

reddit.com/gallery/ucruszNot to brag but I am both child free and an anti-natalist so I definitely don't really get the whole concept in general, but one of the white guys on this show will not stfu about wanting his chosen mate to be a baby factory. For what?
Why does he feel that he has any right to demand this of women? He's so insistent, it's honestly coming off like an obsession. This, to me, seems a very wrong and peculiar reason for a man in particular to seek a woman mainly for her to make this child fantasy a reality, for him. He's willing to risk anything for this ideal he has about "family".
And yes I am implying what it sounds like I'm implying. I'm posting only because I wonder if I'm particula

I worked there with the first owners when they opened in 2000, Patty & Jack. I'm back visiting Hot Springs and was wondering if anyone knows what is there now and if it's worth a visit?

TIL that about 1 in 5 Sun-like stars have an 'Earth-sized' planet in the "habitable zone". It can be hypothesized that there are 11 billion potentially habitable Earth-sized planets in the Milky Way.
