It doesn't seem like they fully resolved the red light issue.
First time, everyone was stopped and I was at a left turn lane with the left red arrow. No other cars moved, no lights changed, and the car started to go anyways.
Second time was a bit later. There were red lights at a cross walk in the middle of a street block. The lights further down at the intersection were green. It was going to blow right through the closer red.
Also have had problems with it getting too close to the car next to me in traffic.
Besides these it has been pretty great. 2023 Model Y
I was driving the other day and the driver's side door randomly opened (like 2 cm?) while I was driving. An alert on the screen said I had hit the manual release, but I definitely did not do that. Has that ever happened to anyone else? It kind of freaked me out.
My kids (intermediate skiers) are visiting me in Seattle. Their local mountains where they live are extremely small. We went to Snoqualmie last night and had some fun. I want to take them to a bigger mountain with longer runs. Are the intermediate runs at Crystal pretty long? It looks like they've gotten a good amount of snow lately. Is Crystal big enough that staying nearby and going a few days makes sense?
I'm with my kids are visiting me in Seattle right now and want to experience 'long' ski runs. They could do intermediate runs on big mountains pretty well at their current ski level, but their local mountain is really really small.
I see posts like this and have read that Whistler is having a bad season. But how are the intermediate runs (things that would satisfy them-- not expert ones, moguls, extreme steep, thick powder etc)? Are there really long ones open right now? Trying to decide whether to drive up today / this week.
Thanks so much.
Hi, I will be skiing a bunch this year with my model y lr. How decent are the default tires in snow? I am in the Seattle area and driving out east into the cascades. It snows quite a bit. Do others have special tires or ever use chains etc?
How often do you all have degraded braking? It seems like mine is frequently degradedf even around 60% charge.
I'm in the general Seattle area, so it is colder lately and there are lots of hills. Going down a hill seems to saturate the charging until I accelerate again.
Is this temperature related? I don't know how to tell what the current battery temperature is. Does the car use the heat pump at all to regulate the battery temperature?
I have only received the "degraded braking" warning one time though,

I purchased my tesla for cash in WA and did not use financing. I received the registration certificate and it has "USAA Federal Savings Bank" as the legal owner, and myself just as the "Registered Owner". Did anyone else experience this? That must be an error on Tesla's side?
Do any of you have progressive insurance? I'm trying to get that in Washington state but they claim to not offer insurance for the Model Y. I swear I saw people mention it here..
I am trying to get two new 32" 4k monitors that I'll power from my Macbook Pro M1 Max through one thunderbolt cable. I know the limit for 2x4k over TB3/4 is 60hz, but if I run them at 3008x1692 scaled resolution does that make a difference? Can I achieve a higher refresh rate with scaled resolutions? Thanks
Hi! I'm a 6'4" trans woman. I'm so overwhelmed with all my non transition related things, I just don't have much time to find the right clothes for myself. I generally know things I like but not what they're called and where to find them. Have any of you used a stylist that can find tall clothes? Thanks so much!
