So we all get back and buy sandwiches.

"This is what my brother has been told by his employers. He works in a small office in a city centre and can work remotely. He admits that their efficiency, especially in terms of the quality of customer service, has been compromised by the team working from home.

They've all been told to go back to the office from mid September, which he is reluctant to do, mainly because he dislikes the commute and has enjoyed being at home with his wife and toddler.

When he (and, I think, some other team members) requested an extension to working from home, they were told in no uncertain terms to get back in to the office, and that they should be wary because 'if

MN are deleting it.

"Sorry if this sounds petty. I just get so frustrated by stuff like this.

So I live In Melbourne where we are 4 weeks into 6 weeks stage 4 lockdown. A guy in a Spider-Man suit has been running around my local town and has been anonymous until a couple of days ago when he was interviewed on the news.

I’m a member of a fb group for the town I live in and someone posted a photo of him. The comment section is absolutely filled with women saying things like “phwoaaaa 😍😍” “yes please!! 🥵😉😉” “damn 🔥 🔥 🔥 “ and muchhh more.

This is literally a local dude who wanted to do a nice thing and brighten people’s day and make kids smile and I can’t help but think If it was an attract

Except she keeps changing the details. First of all they were young adults still living at home. Now they have been to university and have their own jobs and houses. First off all the DP left his ex and started seeing her 3 months later. Now they had spent a few years finalising the split then 3 months later started seeing OP. Of course the ex just wanted to stay married to the DP for money and status.

Not a troll, but having fun reading this one. Interesting to read that it is run by the same people as run Britannia Hotels. We stayed three years running in a Britannia Hotel about 15 years ago. It was very cheap, clean, but obvious they were doing zero to upkeep the hotel. The last time it was beginning to feel dodgy and just a bit too run down, although still clean.

"How does it work?!

I’m a total germaphobe (e.g. I cried for about an hour when my dress brushed against the side of a urinal in a unisex toilet last year!) so I’m terrified of bringing my toddler into public toilets. Whenever we’ve gone into one in the past he’s always been strapped into his pushchair so he can’t touch anything but he’s nearly 2.5 now. We are starting potty training next week so I need to know what to do!

Does anybody have a good technique for getting a baby to use the toilet as hygienically as possible? Someone once told me to sit down and let the baby wee/poo through your legs but that sounds like a recipe for disaster to me!"

Not been on MN for quite a few weeks, but went back today and read a few of the coronavirus threads. And there is so much low level bullying going on. It is horrendous. Quite glad I am banned so I am not tempted to post.

OP wants to go on a UK holiday because her husbands mental health is bad. No he does not take medication, get counselling, and he has not even spoken to a Dr. But a nice holiday will surely solve it all?

Personally I suspect her husband is bored and fed up and this is his "bad mental health".

Hits all the buttons, fat smoking husband who is controlling and stupid. And OP of post, these illnesses would not put him in the shielding category.

"He is 50, v overweight, BAME and smokes 20 a day. His parents passed away years ago, his dad at 46 from heart failure. He has (controlled) hypertension, pre-diabetes which he takes met for in for, and he also buys ventolin on the internet, presumably because he doesn’t want to discuss his respiratory problems with the doctor. He does no exercise. None.

Unbeknownst to me he is in the “shielding” category. He works from home mostly anyway, but he didn’t tell me about the shielding thing. The GP surgery has been chasing him since at least Febru

"I work full time and I'm doing a full time Masters' degree. My Masters' dissertation was due last week and my exams start on Monday. I have a son who is approaching one year old. My husband usually works full time but, as a teacher, he's been told to stay at home and do no work on full pay. I just lost it with him - I want to know if I'm being unreasonable. About a ten days ago, I had been working on my dissertation and then needed to express breastmilk. I stopped doing my dissertation to express, my husband had been watching our son. He came in and said he needed to go to the Post Office and did I want to go to get some time out of the house (as he's been doing our weekly food shop). I sai
