I'm prototyping a sign project where the letters of a word will have strips of WS2812Bs outlining them. The circumference/area of each letter varies, which is going to result in irregular lengths of LED strips. For instance, for an 8 inch tall letter E, I've roughly calculated that I'll need to cut a strip of 140 LED "pixels" using the compact 144 per meter strips, but an 8 inch tall letter A will require only 82 LED "pixels" to wrap around it.

I'd like to use the Multiple Controller feature by simply setting up the strips together, but with the varying lengths. For example:

Discovered some shield-like bugs that took residence over my wife's columbines last night. After some regular searching, I think they might be some kind of variety of stink bug, but they're quite a bit smaller than the regular stink bugs that we tend to find around here (such as the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug). They're approximately the same size as a regular lady beetle, ~8mm-ish in length. I guessed they might be Harlequin Bugs, but their eggs are not even close to being similar.

They do not appear like they have done any damage to the plant, fwiw, but it might also be somewhat early in their occupation.

Anyone have any better guesses? [https://imgur.com/a/tQ8iKlF](https://imgur.com/a/

The nearly 100yr old house my wife and I bought a little less than a year ago needs the screens replaced on a number of our windows. Unlike aluminum screen frames with a spline and groove, these are just a wood frame with the screen tacked on the face, and a small 1/4"x3/4" mitered strip covering the tacks, and then it's all painted white. Nothing fancy. To replace them the screens, I'll need a couple of new tack strips cut to replace broken ones, and to also replace the ones I'll inevitably break trying to take them off.

I have some 1x4 poplar and cedar stock that both measure 3/4" thick, which would both work well if ripped into 1/4" width strips. I have a circular saw, a jigsaw, a recipr
