hello all! i'm a chronic worrier and don't have the money to spend on a doctor rn (just got billed $200 for a strep and flu test), so i was hoping i could get an opinion on whether i am just experiencing anxiety or not.

a little background, i'm 19f, and i've dealt with palpitations, high heart rate, and high blood pressure for years. most of the times when i went to the doctor as a kid, my doctor would comment on how high my blood pressure was every time. my heart rate was usually above 100, even when resting, despite me being a decently active and healthy kid. heart palpitations have also been a big issue for me, sometimes being so bad to the point that they make me cough. a few years ago,

Sharing this here so that maybe other people get as much of a kick out of it as I do.

I live in Knapp Hall, and I ended up with a random roommate in my desperate attempt to secure a room that wasn't a triple or quad. We exchanges Instagrams through the housing portal and started texting there, and I thought we were going to get along as we are both biology majors, and she seemed sweet. She ended up moving in much later due to the conflicts going on in her home country, but when she finally got here, she was sweet.

That was, until, she started asking for things. She started asking to use stuff like my fridge, which I was ok with. Then, she started asking to use my laundry detergent, which I

Hello all!! I have no way of getting a pregnancy test at the moment, so I'm coming here for advice. I had sex Sept. 30th, the condom broke, but the guy I was with pulled out. A week or so ago, I started getting really tired and nauseous. The last day of my laster period was Sept. 25th, and my period is EXTREMELY regular, usually 25 days apart with three days of bleeding. I'm worried because my period just started four days early, which has never happened before, and I'm worried it may be implantation bleeding. Please help.

sorry in advance for any spelling/grammar errors. i just need to brain dump and get this off my chest.

i got out of a two year relationship a few months ago with a man who i really, really loved, but we broke up due to our different directions in life and because he was treating me poorly. since then, i've talked to a lot of people, but all of them have just been terrible and no one has really clicked.

most of the time, i start talking to a man because he shows interest in me (usually people who go to my college through instagram). what happens is a dude follows me, likes my stories for a bit, i check out his profile and follow him back, he dms me complimenting me, i thank him and complime

Hi all! I just started getting into makeup. I've found that I can't stand the feeling of foundation, and I would really like some skincare benefits in my base product. I'm 18, but I have really deep, dark eye bags and smile lines. I've found that I have dry skin and I'm neutral-warm toned. I'm really pale as well, which has made my search extra difficult because everything is either too dark or too warm (because apparently companies think that being pale + warm toned = orange). The closest matching product to my skin tone that I've found has been the elf camo concealer in light sand and the hydrating one in the shade fair beige. I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so I have to order

Hello all! I just started taking Estarylla and I've been getting a lot of side effects that weren't explained to me. I'm coming here to ask about it before going to the doctor because I'm worried it's just anxiety.

My side effects are: • Loss of appetite • Extreme nausea at the thought of food that gets worse when trying to actually eat • Daily, awful migraines • A lot of acne • Terrible mood swings • Constantly tired and no energy

I started taking it about two weeks ago, primarily to help with my hormonal acne and my PMDD. Thank you!

Hello all! I don't really know where to start, so I'm just going to try and tell the story to the best of my abilities. I'm sorry for any grammatical errors, I'm still very upset as I type this. Sorry this is so long, too.

One thing that happens to me, that I've been told is because of my OCD, is that I will randomly get flashbacks to things that happened to me in the past, and those things will replay in my mind over and over. The other day, the memory that popped up is of when my boyfriend used to get mad at me for coming to him for help/comfort because he didn't want to be my "therapist". We've since then worked through that, and he usually understands when thoughts like this come up, an

Hello all! Recently I (18f) and my boyfriend (20m) have been having a lot of trouble with sex. Every time we try vaginal sex, it's like he just can't fit inside of me. I know he can, because it's happened before, but right now he just can't get in me. We've been trying over and over for the past week now, and only once has it gone in. Unfortunately, right after it went in, it slipped out and we weren't able to make it fit again.

I hate to say it, but I believe what's happening is that I'm getting really turned off by giving my boyfriend head. I have TMJ, which makes keeping my jaw open wide enough for that extremely painful, tiring, and with how long he's been wanting me to do it, my jaw en

i don't know how to start this because it just happened and i need to get it off my chest and i desperately need help.

my dad (59m), step mom (32f), and i (18f) just got into a huge fight. back in february, i booked a flight to see my long-distance boyfriend of a year and a half because i wanted to do something big for myself to celebrate all of my achievements (finishing highschool, getting my first job, working as hard as i possibly could these past few years, getting some of my mental & physical health goals, etc.). i did this also so that i could do something big independently for the first time, and when i told my dad about it he was surprised but accepting. when he told my step mom ab

Hello everyone! Recently, I was asked by my boss to help him redesign his logo, and I got the go-ahead from my teacher to do it. The problem is, I have absolutely no idea what to do for it. I am completely stumped despite having complete creative freedom. I have tried asking other people in my GDI class, but they also can't come up with anything. The current logo for the company is a royalty free shark head with a clipart burger in its mouth, reminiscent of the name of the burger joint, Sharks Burger. I believe what I'm having trouble with the most is that all of the ideas I am having don't fit my style or my idea of a good logo. I could really use some inspiration just to get me started ple

recently, i felt that i've hit rock bottom. this came after weeks of fighting and then a devastating breakup with my now ex. after it all happened, i went on a deep dive in a few different subreddits and found that although i was wronged greatly in my relationship with my ex, i was being abusive back towards him.

i grew up in a home with an extremely abusive mother and a neglectful father. i was raised around screaming and fighting, and i promised myself i wouldn't do that in my relationship. unfortunately, i now have done exactly what i told myself i wouldn't do. i would get mad at him over little things, i wouldn't give him the room to talk a lot of the time when i felt wronged, i always
