Hi all,

Currently having a dispute with my current employer. I have a contractual 3mo notice period, however due to the nature of my role, this is never really feasible if you wish to leave the company. My line manager and I agreed on a 6wk notice period, however HR have now stated they want the 3mo. This was after the chat with my line manager, so I have now signed all relevant contracts etc with the new company. HR are now saying they will refuse to release me from employment until the 3mo period and do not accept my resignation.

How do I respond to this? I realise the situation is less than ideal, however having cleared it with my line manager in advance I thought I would be good to go

Hey reddit, doing a big brew day today and will be testing both machines together so I thought I'd give a casual review of the machines and answer any questions for those of you that are considering dropping some money on one of these.

The machines - from left to right, the new Braumeister, the old Braumeister and the grainfather

Grainfather: RRP £600.

First up, the grainfather! The cheaper of the two brands, build quality is good but its a little thinner than the braumeister, no biggie though. All the electronics work well and all in all its a well built piece of kit. Slight annoyances with the false bottom in the grain chimney as the seal can be difficu

Trophy didn't pop, I can 100% guarantee I did not use a hint box at all. This happen to anyone else?

Great story to the game for those of you that haven't played it, won't spoil anything though

So tomorrow I will be making my first Kvass anyone whose made one before have any pointers? Not sure what flavour(s) I'm going for yet, will update when I'm done!

Edit; formatting

Stage 1

On the left we have mango, raspberry and passion fruit. I've added 200ml of honey and 3tbsp of sugar and a spoonful of yeast.

On the right we have 3 types of apple and a few left over raspberrys with 300ml of honey.

The base liquor/wort/fluid was rye bread steeped in ~2L of water.

I've tried to follow the style as much as I can but other than the rye bread and the usually low ABV there seems to be few rules and lots of variations.
