No shade on anyone who referenced them, I just want to know why so many people are talking about them like it’s the only place they’ve ever had a smoothie.

Fairly new to Onshape, and I have been playing with some of the features, to speed up some framing design. Using 8020 extruded aluminum as a base, I wanted to mate one of the brackets to the extrusion, however, I don't really see how I can get the mate connectors on the mounting holes of the bracket to line up with the channel running down the length of the extrusion.
Only idea I have is to make all of my extrusion profiles symmetric across a plane and then hope that translates into the assembly for reference points.
Any quick advice would be appreciated so that I can get passed this bonehead obstacle and learn the right way.
I finally ordered one of these CNC units to add to my prototype shop. Might anyone here have any recommendations for add-on components? Dust shoe for the spindle? Dust collector: what size? Drag knife (saw someone posted this earlier)?
Plans, dimensions for a good stand?
I have a boss hp2436 180w co2 laser. It’s just had its 4 year birthday, and has been used quite regularly as the main workhorse in my prototyping and customization business. I’m now starting to hear a squealing/screeching noise when moving the laser head across the x axis at full speed. Not apparent under normal cutting or engraving speeds. I’m guessing that the roller bearings that support the belts have gotten debris in them, or have worn down a bit. Anyone have any similar experiences? I’m curious if I need to disassemble and lubricate bearings, or belts.
Can u/mike-poloniex please help me verify my legacy account? My main account with all my money is still pending with no response. I uploaded requested documentation with my support ticket but that hasn't gone anywhere either. Ticket #720594 submitted January 18th, 2018
With the upcoming movie and a world already rich with characters, imagery, and stories, shouldn't there be a popular draw towards creating this game? I mean, if you Port the infrastructure of Warcraft and add the design and story elements of Wakanda it seems like it's a sure winner
I am in the process of acquiring another laser cutter and wanted to mod it, just using the enclosure and gantry, to serve as a high power fiber laser for thin metal. Does anyone have any insight to share, as far as wavelengths nd power, or vendors that sell modules?
Looking for a partner to play some regular tennis with, or a workout partner. Willing to shift gyms as needed
Looking for other entrepreneurs or business owners that are interested in cooperating or collaborating. I own a prototyping and scale manufacturing business here in California. We do laser engraving, cnc machining, and design. I'm certain there are a number of companies/people that can benefit from better pricing, quality, and social responsibility that my business services can provide.
Is anyone out there, starting or established, interested in working together?
I've seen some older posts on this subject and wanted to see if there was any new news. I am looking to help a friend start a laser engraving side business and she is ready to invest in a laser cutter. I would appreciate any advice or recommendations! I currently use the trotec speedy 300 and the Epilog (forgot version) at my local TechShop, so I am familiar with a couple brands. Anyone have any insight on models, software/firmware, purchase price, power ratings, service and versatility? These are the main mfr that I am aware of. I was a bicyclist riding southbound on Telegraph at 27th street, when an unaware driver made a left hand turn and plowed into my front wheel. Thanks to some skill, a light bike, and a lot of luck, I flipped over the hood during the collision and rolled it out. It was fairly epic, and there were a number of witnesses. I just wanted to know if anyone happened to get any video? Photos?
Since the Parke-Flyer mod is out of stock, I wonder if anyone else could help me in finding another non-complex solution to upgrade my RC? Or, if you have personal experience, a rec for one of the mod techniques/YouTube would be great!
