My husband is a few weeks away from taking the bar. It’s been miserable. I’m a med student so I’m no stranger to exam bubbles. But all he does is talk about legal stuff (even more than when he was in school and on law review) or bicker with me. And when it’s the latter, I feel like he’s approaching what I say like a bar question and nitpicking. Is this typical and can I expect him to go back to normal after the exam?

My cat is a 2YO neutered male who weighs 11.5 lb. No past medical history. Loves food but I keep him at an ideal weight.

He broke his foot this morning while climbing a shelf. I got him to the vet right away and all 4 metatarsals are fractured in one of his feet. Closed simple fractures but some are displaced. No other injuries.

The vet recommended conservative care without splinting or surgery. We will be caging him in a dog crate. We’re following up in 3 weeks. He said cats are great at healing fractures below the ankle and though it will likely be a malunion, it will probably not cause long-term issues. He was given NSAIDs and buprenorphine for the weekend.

I guess I am just worried

After years of thinking I have autism and/or ADHD, I am finally getting tested tomorrow (I’m in my late 20s). I’m not afraid of getting an autism or ADHD diagnosis. Rather, I’ve heard that these tests are based on data from men and boys and that if I get an indeterminate or negative result, I’ll always feel like I don’t know for sure, if that makes sense.

I’m also worried that I’ve learned to mask so well that the test won’t pick up my true traits. For example, when I was a child I walked on my toes, always had to sort my food by color and eat it in a specific color order, and I struggled to understand social “rules” despite doing well academically. But now I’ve learned how to not do thos

Organizing secondaries

💀 Secondaries

How are you all keeping track of your progress on your secondaries? I have each of my school’s secondary prompts saved as a word doc, and that’s about it. I feel like I have no clue how much work I need to do overall. But I feel like one master document could be unwieldy. Help.

Has anyone tried making kombucha shrub syrup? How did it compare to traditional shrub? I have a very over-fermented 1F that might be acidic enough to work.

I am fostering a ferret right now and the shelter warned me that he will likely be adopted fast as ferrets have been popular lately. I started searching around for ferret adoptions and there are hardly any available within hundreds of miles of me!! Anyone know why? It’s concerning when a certain pet gets trendy because people will get them without doing their research or really being committed. I hope it’s just an odd coincidence.

I took AAMC FL1 a while back and got a 517 (127/132/127/131).

Just took AAMC FL2 and got a 516 (129/132/129/126).

This makes sense because I've been prioritizing the improved subjects and neglecting P/S. But given the same overall score, do schools care at all about the section breakdown? I'm testing on 5/31 so need to decide how to allocate my time in these last weeks.

My friend spilled cola on my sweater WIP. The yarn is Cascade 220 Superwash in colorway Natural. I blotted it, soaked with gentle detergent, and flushed with plenty of water. This was mostly successful but there is still a small, light stain. What else can I do to get it out? Thanks.
