Hello. I am Dong Nguyen, and I have an idea for a game called "Flappy Bird". This game entails a bird that the user controls by tapping the screen, and navigating through green pipes, similar to those of Super Mario Bros.

It is simple to play, but very difficult to master. I hope it inspires a lot of user following, as well as some intense frustration :)

TL;DR: Please fill in this survey, it should take you less than a minute :)

Hi all,

I'm currently working on a new app that will help people find a coworking space or closed office. I'd like you to help me find a name by filling this form. It should take you less than a minute.

These names are all based on the word "DESK" and have an available .com

Some criteria to keep in mind :

  • The name needs to be pronounceable in your mother tongue
  • If you're given the name orally, you should be able to spell it the right way
  • Ideally, it wouldn't sound rude in y

I have come up with a concept that I think will be the next big business on the same level as Uber. I know what I want this company/app to be and I have a vision of what it will become. What I don't have is skills in coding or web development. That is where I need YOU. If you consider yourself a freelance coder or web developer and are interested in help creating something special that could very well end up being a billion dollar company PM me and we can go from there. I'm very excited about this project and I'm looking for other young, bright individuals like myself that want to create something exciting together. Feel free to PM me for further details or to tell me a little more about you

Alright everyone. As you all may have noticed, despite our slow and steady growth, the sub has not been receiving as many posts and app-building requests as we have anticipated. This has led us to have quite a stagnant sub as a whole.

So, what can we do from here? Well, we mods will tell you; we at r/BuildAnApp are in the process of cooperating with other app-oriented subs in order to stimulate our growth and foster a successful and productive community.

In addition, we intend to have a stickied thread every week which will promptly be named the "Curating Thread". This post will allow app creators or ambitious developers to receive feedback from us mods or other sophisticated devs on how

Hey everyone,

So I have an idea for an app involving environmental improvement. I've tried learning C++ a while back for iOS, but as a student this is too time consuming for me. Is there a way for me to sell my idea to an app writer without getting scammed? What do I do? I can't put down hundreds of dollars to hire someone to make it for me but I want my idea to get out there. I have an outline of the app on paper with designs for the screens, log in, map functions and whatnot already planned out.

Thanks!

Hi guys, we wroted a step-by-step manual on how to create a mobile app without any coding knowledge!

Building an Android mobile app from scratch isn’t easy, especially if you don’t use a mobile app builder. There are lots to do. First, you need to prepare all your ideas for your mobile app: its name, visual feel, content, and any other details you may need. Then, after lots of revisions and iterations, after you cement all of those details, you’re ready to start building your

First things first, we would like to welcome all of those who have joined us over the past few days. We have seen a dramatic increase in page views since we went public, and we are hovering at a couple thousand right now.

Though we may all seem to be progressing, there are a few things we need to get out of the way before our sub truly expands. I will address these issues on behalf of myself, and the entire mod team as well.

Communication Between Users And Mods:

This is something we take to the heart, as we are the organizers of this great creative space for app development, the likes of which have never been seen on the Reddit platform. The lack of communication, for which we apolog

...I've no idea where to start. I've tried working with some of the online game/app resources, but they don't quite fit what I've written out for the story/action - either that or I really have no idea what I'm doing (which is entirely possible).

I'm looking for someone to help code or point me in the direction of a good place to start. It's a side-scroller, Super mario-esque & doesn't have to be graphics intense (hell, 8-bit is fie if done well enough), but there's a lot to put in. I'd like it to be multi-platform, but am most familiar with Android. I've written a lot of the game out, and, if I can get this to work, I'd like to start working on other diseases as well.

I know that ther

I'm a 19 year old newly computer science major who just started reading "Head first Java". Is this a good book to start with learning Java and then heading into the Android SDK tutorials? This is, I'm hoping, my first language I will fully learn to the best of my ability. I did some Python and JavaScript but never anything too serious. I'm also taking an Intro to Java class this semester but I assume if I read far enough into the book given to me that it would only be practice. What else should I do to try and make my "adventure" into Java even better/quicker/stronger?

Hey everyone. A friend of mine is struggling with depression and I thought of a simple app concept that may help him a bit. He has a hard time reaching out to people when he is feeling shitty, and I thought that maybe an app where you just press a button an immediately your friend/s get notified, without the anxiety that generates actually calling or texting someone to ask for help, as he has told me it happens to him all the time.

If anyone could guide me on how to do it or at least suggest a couple features, or even if you know of an app that can fulfill that purpose, that would be great.

Love you all and thanks in advance.

I have started to work on one of my several ideas just to get a feeling of the process.

A little about me. I am a 27 year old man from Norway. The only relevant experience I have is team management, but that is from the construction industry.

I am good at seeing solutions and logistics. I have little programming experience, some design experience.

I do have alot of somewhat developed ideas. Some more profitable then others.

Now I am working on a simple app just to get a feeling of the process. I have design and somewhat of a wireframe, also a domain and instagram.

I need help on developing the app and market it. I hope to find people that are similar to me and that will help me evol
