When I was just seven, my dream of becoming a writer began. Since then, in the thirteen more years I've been alive, I have done so much to achieve my goal, and exactly f-ck all, too. before today, I had but one finished product, one that mysteriously disappeared and I haven't seen since. It was a full novella, and was never published. I'd like to say that it discouraged me so much I could never finish anything since, and while that might have something to do with it, I'm more likely lazy and cynically demotivated. Today though, short as the story may be, I completed the Ama: A Short Psychological Horror Story final draft, totaling 20 A5 pages, and sent it to Amazon! Honestly, I'm scared sh-t
I like to write. Mostly because my brain works to much on making up stories. Recently I’ve had this story building in my brain and I hate it because I could never write it in a way that makes sense to anyone but me. This ones just really stuck in my head. I keep hearing songs that I can imagine the characters relating to or singing.

I feel like I’m going through a Fitzgerald-like state of writing abyss.
I feel like sometimes I’m not meant to be a writer / am terrified of picking up a pen and going again.
I even stray away from reading to stop the inspiration coming to mind to pick up and start again & it kills me.
Anyone else ever feel like this?
Or have tips to combat it?
Would be much appreciated
Thanks
I finally found something I could expand into an actual book!
That was a few months ago. Right now if got a few more chapters to do, and then editing. And then even more editing I imagine.
So, anyways I was wondering if any if you would like to critique my first chapter? It's not that long, only about 1,300 words.
Genres:

I'm writing and peer-reviewing characters and I accidentally made two characters who are an FBI agent and his pilot that chase my protagonists around the world gay since they spend so much time together. Does anyone ever ship their original characters of the same sex like that or is just me? Should I try to force them to be straight or just keep them like they are if I want them to be published?
Hey, I've been trying to write something and I want really cool but dark names for females that mean evil, any help?
Creativity is a muscle and as a writer we all must keep it well tonned, I recently completed the writing masterclass by Neil Gaiman, he suggested that, "If you want to keep that creativity muscle, you must excercise it. Excercise it by writing regularly, and yes there will be days when you have nothing to write or you won't be able to think anything, on those days, you can write the old Stories, the stories that you grew up listening, with a different perspective an alternative story. For example, you can write snow-white from the perspective of her mother. Snow-white a young girl with skin as white as snow, dark black eyes and lips as red as blood, maybe she is a vampire, the mother must pr
Act as you are a writer. Sit down and begin. Act as if you might create something beautiful, something authentic and universal. Don't wait for anyone to tell you it's okay. Show the world your humanity, your passion, and your compassion. That's your job as a writer.
I've been working on my book titled Su(o)n's of Amon (yes the o is there in parenthesis on purpose) for around 2 years. About one and a half of those years was just planning it out, and the last 6 months was me writing it. I finally got it done, edited, cover art drawn, and published it myself to amazon. I'm feeling good! But it's not over yet, I want to write a series and this is just the start of hopefully a long series that the common guy will have head of one day. I'm still pretty young at 23, so I'm glad I started early.
Kieren The Game Blogger Volume 1: Crystal Clear - Illustrated & Written by K-ManDraws!
"Kieren The Game Blogger" starts in 2016 in an alternate universe that seems eerily similar but still different from ours. Esports are more mainstream than how we see them today. It is mainstream enough for teenagers to create an online following within the industry before they've even attended high school; This is very much the case for our main character. Technology has advanced to where evil organizations possess holograms and laser blasters. Not to mention, video game characters cross over into this universe our characters inhabit,
