I have not met a single person who has also watched this show, and I have tried to turn people onto it, but was relieved a couple years ago to read some critical acclaim for the show, and now finding this Thread 🧵 Finding more praise for this incredible show.

One of the most moving, emotional and thought provoking shows I have ever seen. Certainly heavy, but makes you feel empathy and think. I think everyone could benefit from watching this show, especially these day

I'm disappointed the episode threads stopped 3 episodes before the series finale. Great show, some fantastic acting that was criminally underrated, it's a crime not even nominated for an Emmy at all...

Yeah I know, he's more prolific as an actor than as a writer, but it just surprises me that there hasn't been a followup to Rectify in almost ten years. Genuinely one of the most poetically written and meditative television programs I've ever seen, and I need more television in my life like it. Come back to TV, Ray!

That was, one helluva journey and one helluva an ending. I'm not so good with my words to write down how it made me feel not just as a man but as a human being.

All I know is I'll never forget it and I'm so extraordinarily grateful for discovering this wonderful, wonderful show.

That is all.
