I usually post stuff I'm borderline not super invested in, like a coward, but I feel like this revision has potential, so I'd definitely appreciate eyes on it. Wondering if it sags in the middle, if it's perfectly coherent, and what the fuck to do with the ending? I mean I thought my cliffhanger and its implications would be fun, but loud voices disagree. Ideas are welcome. Once I've landed the ending and boiled the length down a few inches, I figure I might have a story here. Or it's convoluted.

I have a wish list of writers I'd like notes from, but I've never seen one added to a submission so I'm not about to start now. Not without an alt, anyway.
