Novel Translation: How Dare You
Ep 17: Yu Wanuin speaks to Xie Yonger in English but she pretends not to understand and tells Xiahou Dan that Yu Wanuin is crazy. Xiahou Dan replies in English. They sit down together and Xiahou Dan trolls Yonger while Wanuin tries to convince her to join them. He claims to be playing Good Cop, Bad Cop, but he also considers her to be just a character so he might not want to align with her anyway.
Yu Wanuin says that even villains deserve a fresh start and excuses Yonger for acting vicious while frightened. Xiahou Dan is surprised by her forgiving stance and says there is no way she could be a villain. They talk a little about their real lives and he says she must have been pretty...
The Empress Dowager plans to start a war by attacking the Yan delegates. The Crown Prince is shown to be her puppet. The scholars are having a meal and the one assigned to divination is having a bad time. The Yan people are planning on assassinating the emperor. A bunch of fake thugs attack the Yan group from the Empress Dowager. The scholars run to inform the emperor. Both Prince Duan and Xiahou Dan help the Yan people out.
It turns out the prince of Yan, Tu'er, who is the emperor of Yan's nephew, is the one who came with the delegate. Tu'er hates Xiahou Dan. Prince Duan plans to use Tu'er to carry out his assassinations. We get a flashback of Tu'er' and Shanyi:

The Emperor of Yan claims Xiahou Dan tried to assault and then killed Shanyi (lol, we doubt this)
Baby Diary! Little Dan sees that someone dug up his SOS message. He's excited that his ally has finally come.
Ep 18: Everyone is going on a trip to Mount Bei for some nice views, mausoleum tours, and murder.
Yu Wanuin is taking care of Xie Yonger. They bond over regrets towards their real moms. When they ask each other where they are from in the real world, it becomes clear that Yonger isn't actually from our realm:
Wanuin and Yonger have girl time. Xiahou Dan eavesdrops on them but doesn't hear anything good. He delivers a note from Prince Duan. Wanuin shows Yonger all her letters from Prince Duan to prove that he's playing them. They also tell her that the medicine Prince Duan gave her would have killed her if she took all of it. She goes to meet the prince and begs him to take her away. He says she needs to help him.
The main couple meets and...
Xiahou Dan puts his cloak on Yu Wanuin. She is embarrassed that people are watching and he gets all the servants to turn around (power move!). They almost kiss, except he shudders and pulls back. The crowd that was waiting To Go Wild is now Sad.
It's not your fault! He's got trauma
Yu Wanuin asks Xiahou Dan to "sleep with her" but it's not a come on, she needs to show off Mr. Bei's new invention (made with her help)
Translation note (from the novel): "gun" and "spear" are homonyms in Chinese, which is why Mr. Bei is confused by Xiahou Dan using that term.
Xie Yonger sends a note that says Prince Duan isn't going to do anything. Xiahou Dan plans to go to the mountain alone without Wanuin. She wants to come, but he tells her to protect herself. He makes the same promise we saw earlier from Shanyi and with great genre awareness, Yu Wanuin tells him to take it back as bad luck. He doesn't.
Baby Diary! The person who found the note isn't a transmigrator. Little Dan accidentally kills her.
I haven't watched the promos yet, but it is going to go down tomorrow! Should be lots of action!
