I used to "main" this weapon.

Because it inked so much turf.

Way too much.

This weapon is a pretty low skill ceiling weapon. Anything it does well, there are other options that are better. Yet, somehow, whenever I revisit this weapon, it feels like home.

Is it the fact that it fires so damn fast that you can cover a football field in what feels like 10 seconds?

Is it the fact that it fires so fast that a 5-shot kill is basically instantaneous at point-blank range?

Is it the fact that you can have maximum splatterdash efficiency along with amazing coverage to be a great support weapon for your team?

Is it the fact that it has basically no accuracy meaning that you hardly have to try to ink turf?

Yeah, pretty much.

This weapon is overlooked for higher DPS weapons like the sploosh-o-matic, the splattershots (and jr.), the splash-o-matic (neo variant especially), and the N-zaps. Yet it still has a spot in many of our hearts for being the first weapon we truly fell in love with because we were too scared to try ranked and we were too good at turf war to leave it anyway.
