Cant you smell the rotten carcasses of the many that came before you who took in more than their portion?

Satisfied by sugary promises that were whipped up in dusty cauldrons

Who ate all the lies?

If you listen close you can still hear their ghoulish cries

Unfortunate souls fell in love with empty eyes

The same eyes that only looked past their waist

"You're so so sweet" they would naively say

That's until they were hit by the bitter aftertaste
