They should really do a publicity stunt on the back of the bad WG PR event. Like: "Disapointed from WOWs PR event, here is a welcome package". Would probably be succesful.

They have ridden on WoT's ad campaign and EA's Battlefront backlash. Wouldn't be unheard of for them to do this.

Yeah, but if you think sky cancer is bad in WoWS, WT says "hold my vodka". Stopped playing WT because the sky cancer is so horrendous when you go to play "Ground Forces" battles.

In the Navy mode, AA can be ridiculously powerful if you have the right ship, like a late-war American destroyer. You can pretty much deny an entire area from planes and can snipe them from 5 km out

But in Ground Forces mode, your AA is even more useless than DFAA after patch 8 point Oh-No.

The problem with War Thunder is that it sucks. As a bonus, Gaijin is even worse than WG. Other than that, it's fine.

The irony of suggesting War Thunder in response to grind and a lapse in customer relations is the funniest thing in a long time. It would take a Puerto Rico every month to catch up to garbage WT progression.

If you think I was "suggesting" WT to anyone, you missed the point entirely. But every time ppl jump off WG's train, some simply go and try Gaijin instead. Hence "the only winner" in this.

With a tIV premium and premium time you can grind a whole line out within 1-2 days. For planes the grind is a mile easier than the grind in wows

Sounds like a lot of bullshit considering you have flags camos and plenty of other things to help with a grind in wows compared to wt

I bought a French jet for 25€ at the sale and got the whole French plane tree grinded out like 3 days later. Easily doable in WT. Tanks might be a bit grinder but planes in WT are much easier to grind than ships/tanks in the wg games.

Nothing above a few heavy cruisers and the Deutschland class armored cruiser Admiral Graf Spee. No true BB in sight.

i just think you can't compare the two ship games, completely different idea & concept.
i really only play WT for tanks & planes. the Naval stuff feels odd still. who knows maybe it'll change one day.

Well, that's already close to proper battleships. When I last played War Thunder, the most modern plane was the F-86. And now they have Phantoms and bloody Tiger helicopters...

WT is a light sim which is really shit from a boat perspective since bigger boats shits all over smaller boats so forget any notion of CA,CL beats DD beats BB beats CL,CA balancing circle that WoWs sorta have, WT is gonna be a straight line BB-CA-CL-DD-PT

Not stealing, no. But as it stands: Neither the community, nor WG (long term) are winners in this. We're all losers.
Except for Gaijin as the laughing third, cashing in on whoever quits WoWS yet still wants their ship-fix. And that's my entire point.
Which is a shame because WoWS is superior in every aspect but graphics/model fidelity.

Nah, i dont like the gunarks on WT ships. If your more than 500m away, the shells go up in 90° and you cant see them for 30 secons. You cant even see them land because its for some reason misty in the distance.

I'm not a fan of their whole aiming thing. Because I'm going fast I need to aim behind their ship to lead them? Doesnt make sense to me

I have seen huge server numbers on NA the last few nights and not an insignificant amount of PRs and Gorizias. So I am thinking it is much ado about really nothing.

Imo they are. Yet most players don't know. Which is what makes it so tragic.
We're sandwitched between two terrible companies, one exploiting the PR failures of its competitor with better graphics and promises of more intense battles, the other carefuly calibrating its exploitative practices to be just a bit less painful than the alternative.
They are lot more directly P2W and they don't really listen to their players.
