He’s a role model and leader.
Can I hire Milly as a personal motivator at work?
Voice from corner of cubicle-Alright yoshmoopy, you slacked off on that last report. Let's tear into this excell and show Barb what the fucks up. Screw waiting for John's numbers in marketing- we'll just leave report on boss desk day early then knock out fifty pushups while everyone else is on lunch.
This would actually work for me
Alright yoshmoopy, you slacked off on that last report, aye? Let's tear into this excell and show Barb what the fucks up, aye? Screw waiting for John's numbers in marketing, aye? We'll just leave report on boss desk day early then knock out fifty pushups while everyone else is on lunch, aye?
That sounds more like it
“Alright yoshmoopy, you slacked off on that last report, eh? Let's tear into this excell and show Barb what the fucks up, eh? Screw waiting for John's numbers in marketing, eh? We'll just leave report on boss desk day early then knock out fifty pushups while everyone else is on lunch, eh?”
Eh? Is ‘hey’ with a dropped aitch. You’d say it for emphasis in the same way you can say ‘yeah?’ At the end of a sentence.
‘Aye’, though it still means yes, is something you’d say in agreement to somebody else.
Milly - ‘Get bodies roun’t ball, highest tempo eh?’
Everyone else - ‘Aye’
Edit: multiple fuck ups.
Welcome back Milly
Can someone write down what he said please ?
"Those reactions.. straight away.. as soon as we lose it, there's bodies around it and every player [not sure here]. Everything we do, higher tempo today. Doesn't matter.. no matter what; who scores, we score, they score, we lift it again, aye? [not sure what he says here either]"
And we just saw that happen on the pitch resulting in our 2 goals. Amazing.
"Every player in that area aye" is what I got from the first bit
Think the last bit is "every kick off's a trigger for us."
Highest* tempo
Something along the lines of "reactions straight away, when you lose it, bodies around it as soon as you lose it. Everything you do, high tempo today. Doesn't matter who scores, we score they score," Didn't catch the very last bit
That's what we needed last couple matches I reckon. Someone happy to give a kick up the arse when needed
What a true captain! Not to mention his on the line save! Could have just as easily been 2-2, and the man does the impossible! As good as a goal for us in my book!
Milner gets the boys going
No one knows what it means, but it’s provocative. Gets the people going!
I was thinking a Family Guy style burlesque by Milner.
The Milly Boys,aye?
True leader in the squad. Either he or Henderson need to be in the squad every single game.
Good lad
My captain
Unreal
That's why I think he should be managing the youth team.
He can have a seat on our bench for however long he wishes
GETS THE PEOPLE GOING
If the league was closer this season, that clearance by Milner could have won us the league. Unfortunately we had a similar experience with City last season with the 11mm ball.
I would play a team of 11 Milners
I love you James Milner.
What was the first couple of things he said? right after "around it"?
Leadership like this should not be underestimated. This is why Klopp values Milner so highly.
We all do tbf
he's the only PL winner on this team. he knows how much you need to give to win.
Didn't mo win it with Chelsea?
did he? i forget.
mo wasn't really a valued member of chelsea anyway.
milly was a regular for city either starting or from the bench
Didn't mo win it with Chelsea?
