Lost in Seattle
Seems like all I do is travel
around, seeing Mother Nature unravel.
Journeyed to the Northwest,
got caught in a mental battle,
realized I was lost in Seattle.
Sweet July, Summertime.
No rain, just a big blue sky
and sunshine
from 5:30A to Nine.
Seeking mind;
A kind soul said “there is no try,
there just is!” She was right,
such an awesome friend.
Gently reminded that life
is about the choices
and decisions
we make.
The only constant
in life is
change.
Everything’s connected,
yin and yang.
I choose happiness
over pain.
Like time, things also
come and
go.
The present and future
beautifully collide.
There’s no coincidence.
Everything’s beautifully
significant. Even You reading this,
you are pure magnificence.
Interestingly enough,
life’s best
medicine
is love.
Thank you, kind friend.
Seattle, a city I’m no longer lost in,
a mental battle I’m unable to get caught in
because I am all the way bought in.
Walked 8 miles
with a huge smile
on my
face.
I saw a white butterfly.
Tend to see those often these days.
Things are supposed
to be this
way.
Summer wildflowers make for a perfect bouquet.
I just might stay
here and
play.
Stumbled upon a big lake,
and sat on the bank.
Gazed at my reflection, and gave it a five.
Every day I am starting to feel more alive.
Came back the next day,
to the see-through,
crystal blue
water.
Found the nickel I gave away
from yesterday.
Saw some ducks swimming,
and wanted to tell them a secret.
Put my hand on my mouth to
call them over, then I was greeted.
Speechless they came, I hadn’t a clue,
so I shared something about me
that they already knew,
and the ducks told me to:
“sit back, relax,
you are loved
and right on track.
Keep up the great work,
it’s all a part
of your
beautiful
comeback.”
Those around me only heard a quack.
