Like Nebraska, Alabama wen the route of changing basically nothing. The partisan composition of 6-1 for Republicans is unchanged, and no incumbents were moved. If Alabama had lost a congressional seat as expected, this might have been more interesting. Still, not every map can have drama. On my gerrymander tracker series, I seriously struggled to decide whether this should count as a gerrymander. I decided it did, despite the map technically having a single digit efficiency gap.
