- Play hyper mode
- Don't evolve vandelier, it cost to many lvls
- Get the stone mask and crown!
- Play imelda
- You can pickup the empty tomb by walking left on inlaid library to evolve the magic wand. Make sure you got 6 passive items before picking it up.
- Max your greed, luck and crown in the menu upgrades
- Most important tip, when youre close to hitting the 30 min mark, be sure to stand next to a vacuum. Pick it up at around 29:50 and keep spamming the gold pouch
And you'll easily get atleast 8-10k gold

Hyper on woods, with the ghost. I start with garlic, of course. Get birds.
Then get clover, and break lights; you'll get your luck up to a couple hundred percent, and you'll get the money from the chests alone. Getting over 400 a chest isn't impossible; plus, you get the 100 coin bags more often from luck. Maybe 1 in 10.

Just do hyper mode -- 1.5x gold means you don't even need to be close. And it's still super easy in library.

I did it yesterday, in normal mode. I played in the library to get the mask, my strategy was to collect all red crystals towards the end before getting killed by the boss, and so I got the thing that freezes enemies and the thing that makes you invulnerable, which gave me enough time to grab everything.

I feel your pain. On my first few runs to get it I was that close too lmao if you start crown/mask/and clover. You probably hit it way faster. And then do bible or magic wand and garlic and whatever else you want. Clover at least helps you get money a little bit faster by getting those triple or quintuple chests and leveling yourself fast enough for the money sacks.

Don't wander too much. Loop around the enemies and collect exp as many as possible. As soon as you get the vandalier, just hover around the center of the hoard. Bonus gold will come after.

just play on hyper. I got it on my first run of the new patch cuz there's a 1.5x gold multiplier for hyper + more enemies more quickly so its just way easier to get the gold

Don't get Vandalier on max gold runs. It sucks up 16 levels (8 from Vandalier and 8 from the weapon that replaces the second bird), that you could be using to get sacks of gold.
I don't know enough to agree or disagree, but I like my birds.

On the other hand, you might have only reached the end because of Vandalier. Which then gets you the most gold anyway.
But yeah, you sink a lot of extra levels into those birds that might otherwise have gone towards extra Bags of Coins. It's still hard to say that you made the wrong choice.
Just looking at the weapons he seems to be more than fine, no need of Vandalier. La Borra would've done the trick easily here

All they needed was one more gold, whoch they could have easily gotten if they chose anything other than the birds just from leveling up.
He would have easily cleared 5k playing in Hyper Mode.

If I post a picture getting 22.8k gold with Ebony Wings, does that mean Ebony Wings is twice as good as Vandalier :P?
I'm just joking, Vandalier is a top pick as long as it's upgraded somewhat late or if you know the game, then when you know you are fine for a while to clear all.
