I think 2017 on the DR650. Thought it was a 650 at first, which has also not been updated since the mid 90's other than the NSU screw loctite and output shaft seal retainer. Took them 20 years to figure those out.

Don't interpret that as off-road being off-limits until you change them though. Just trust me and stay away from loose stuff lol and also reduce the tire pressures to 12 psi if you're not riding over rocky stuff.

Yeah it's hard to go out and buy new tires while you're digesting what you just spent. I'll need another couple paychecks to feel ok modifying

Ugh such a great bike... I got one in 2006 the WEEK I turned 15. It was a great first bike; I would have kept it forever if I hadn't laid it down and totaled the poor thing.
I like this color scheme probably more than any other.

When I bought mine in 2008, I was worried they were going to come out with an upgraded one soon, because the model was already 8 years old .... 14 years further along ... still waiting.
Can't beat the price/performance though!
