So I’ve been applying for several jobs. Applied for one on Sunday and got offered an interview a day later.

Just had the interview and I can’t tell if I’m onto the next stage? I’m pretty sure I am?
I was walked through about the training process and costs for the training and had to fill down three forms including putting down my bank details for pay, employee name and my drivers license and passport numbers.

The man who interviewed me shook my hand and said congratulations, but never necessarily said that I got the job. It just feels highly implied that I have considering the paperwork and detailing of the next stages which are medical exams and a three week training course.

Either way

When I’m with people, I always think to myself “how can people talk to each other so easily as if they have pretty much everything in common?” Like people can just talk about anything and I’m just sat there clueless.

I keep getting into my head that I’m just such a dull boring person. See, I’m currently in a very boring and lonely part of my life. My friends barely message me now. I’m not even a part of their group chat. They all talk to each other fine. I’m always the one to start a conversation first but then eventually fall out of the loop because they start to talk about something that they have in common.

So now that I feel, and basically am, alone, I thought that I’m going to start d

Yeah btw I don’t know what to type really so apologies if this post makes no sense.

Started watching this show almost two weeks ago I think. It’s really good and I’m enjoying it. But I just can’t get over how much the tone of the show changes from the start to the end.

You start off with some absolute gooner who has problems in his apartment meeting a random girl and beginning to make a game with his next door neighbour/former school acquaintance. Then he gets a bunch of questionable resources. Seems really weird and dodgy for the first few episodes.

Then it changes to what seems very comedic and heartwarming in some parts after that.

Then episodes 12 and 13 just flip the tone of the sho

Hot weather has been bad enough. My house has the entire upstairs situated inside the roofspace so being up here is hell when trying to sleep.

Anyways, so has anyone else been really suffering badly with hayfever today? I live in the West Midlands which currently has a very high pollen count. I don’t think I’ve suffered this badly from hayfever in my life, not even four years ago. I didn’t get to sleep until 4am because I was sneezing so much. I’ve taken my usual brand of hayfever tablets and nothing is happening. I’ve washed my face several times. My nose is so sore because of the amount of times I’ve had to blow it and wipe away excess. I genuinely am struggling to keep my eyes open becau

I don’t like dogs. Sure some can be cute but I still don’t like them.

I hate it when cafes, pubs and restaurants allow dogs. It’s just straight up unhygienic. I don’t care how clean the place is, bring your dog in and I will not want to be anywhere near it. Especially if the dog is sat on a chair or even worse on the table itself. If you have a dog with you, you should stay outside. Doesn’t matter if the weather is hell. Don’t think you should be allowed to go in everywhere because you have a dog.

Once sat in a pub eating a meal. A dog was on the table next to me and my family. The dog was barking at another dog and it began choking because of how much it was barking and it started salivat

Last Friday was the last day of term for the Easter holidays. As a group, we have been out twice on Tuesday and Thursday. Not too bad. But what I’m annoyed about is that people have made plans to hang out on other days and I hadn’t been invited to any of them.

I expressed to people that I hate feeling left out constantly, they said “try making some plans” and so I did. I told a friend that I want to invite people over for the afternoon on Saturday. I ask. All of a sudden, no one is available. I know a few people have work, but I made it clear to them that it will only be a hang out for a few hours and they will be back home in time to get ready for work. Others said they were busy doing ran

Additional TW for mentions of sexual assault

Sorry in advance if this post makes absolutely zero sense.

I have a friend who has recently been subject to some poor behaviours and I’m stuck on how to feel about him. I’ve known him for too long to want to get rid of him, but he’s done enough bad stuff to justify getting rid of him. I’m torn between the two and hate it.

I’ll refer to him as X.

I used to see X as my best friend until 2022 when he was accused of sexual assault by a girl in our year at school. Since this incident, I have been very wary and 50/50. I nearly stopped being friends with him but I simply couldn’t bring myself to end the friendship, especially since I’ve known him sin

My Mazda 2 makes different noises when turning the steering wheel.

When I turn it left, the steering wheel makes a loud creaking noise. This happens when I am moving and at a standstill. When I turn it right and when the car is moving, there is a squeaking/chirping noise coming from outside of the car.

Could this be a potential issue with the steering column, or could it be something to do with wheel bearings? I don't have a video/audio clip of the issue unfortunately.

Hello all,

I sold my old Fiat Punto off to a bloke for £200 to scrap it or salvage it for parts since the gearbox blew up and it was rusting away anyway, no way was it going to pass the MOT 13 days after selling it.

When I sold it, I gave all the documents and I realised that I had not cancelled the tax on the car. The bloke was still outside and he said that he would cancel it for me and sort all the logbook.

It’s been over a month and I still have not received a notification through the post or had any sort of refund for car tax. I can’t cancel the car tax or change the logbook details to say I’m no longer the owner as I can’t remember what the name of the bloke’s business was or the ad

Hi guys.

I am currently looking for a new car after my current car's gearbox is rapidly giving up the ghost. I have spotted a Skoda Rapid with a 1.2 TSI engine and has 65k miles on it.

I am considering it but I would like to know of any common issues and reliability issues that may come occur and for anything else that I should look out for or expect when viewing the car. I plan to view the car this weekend, that is if it is still available.

Any help appreciated.

Think this might be the final nail in the coffin for my car. I’m not gonna keep it for longer since it’s essentially scrap value and most likely won’t pass its MOT in February.

Today I was driving home, and as I got to a roundabout and pulled away my friend noticed an obnoxious rattling/grinding noise from the engine bay. I tried to ignore it, but then it did it again a bit later as I was driving up to 60mph and I immediately pulled over.

Lifted up the bonnet, the engine was making an awfully loud noise and there was a smell of burning rubber. I revved the car a bit and it became quieter but it was still there. As I drove off, the car seemed to stutter and limp and made a really loud whini
