Let me preface this: I don't care if HMCS Huron sucks or not.

Per my agreement with Wargaming, HMCS Huron was to be added to the game in compensation for their abusive behaviour when Chobi and I tried to speak up about our involvement with Yukon. I deliberately washed my hands of how she was going to be implemented, just that she would. They could make her OP. They could make her suck butts. That's not my area of concern.

All I cared was that HMCS Huron, the Tribal-class destroyer, was added to the game.

Surprise, surprise: Wargaming isn't respecting our agreement.

There's a lot of abstraction in World of Warships, but some things are grounded in reality. Traditionally, that's

This graphic illustrates the fire angles of Brandenburg's secondaries, with her 150mm guns in red and her 105mm guns in blue. Prior to this patch, the fire angles on her frontmost 105mm guns had asymmetrical firing arcs, with the starboard side gun being able to fire approximately 20º off the ship's stern. However, it's matching gun on the port side could only fire 30º off the ship's stern. This is demonstrated in the graphic by the big red arrows.

I reported this bug about Brandenburg's secondaries back in March and it's been corrected. The port side gun has been buffed to match the starboard side one, gaining about 1

I was asked on the World of Warships Community Discord what it was like in the CC program. Long story short (in three parts):

  1. NikoPower from Wargaming did an amazing job getting the WGNA program off the ground. He was the reason a lot of the perks got transferred to global CCs; not because WG wanted to do it but because CCs from other regions were rightly bothered that NA-CCs were treated better. He kept our program VERY small and made sure to vet players added to the program not only for content, not only for personality, but for how well they collaborated.
  2. When all of the CCs were tossed into one communal pool, this practice ended. Wargaming set the program up to f

In the wee hours of August 12th, in one of the CC-Discord channels in front of everyone, a Wargaming employee decided to contradict me, belittle me and ignore evidence I was providing, all the while barking at me to show them respect.  This is them "communicating better".  It's completely unacceptable were it just an isolated incident.  It's made hilariously bad in that it all but repeats what happened to Chobi and I leading up to the Yukon incident where a Wargaming employee contradicted us, belittled us and ignored the evidence we were providing regarding our work on Yukon.  It took them almost an hour to finally apologize and admit they were wrong in this case, but only after ot

I put the following question to the devs regarding the upcoming Missouri mission for existing owners:

Let's do an example and get a clear answer with no ambiguity. Here's the hypothetical scenario: Missouri is being used to farm credits for a "Earn 50M credits" mission for a dockyard event.

Missouri plays very well in a Random Battle. Said player has premium time and earns a cool 1,000,000 base credits (big round number!). They were using the Ocean Soul camouflage (+20% credit earning) along with the following signals:

  • Zulu (+20% credit earning)
  • Wyvern (+50% credit earning)
  • Scylla (+25% credit earning)
  • Basilisk (+30% credit earning)
  • *Leviathan (+2

Hi, everyone. I'm trying to collect a large pool of data for Missouri's present credit earnings. I want to be able to compare what she's earning currently with what she will be earning in the future. Instead of doing this all myself with a limited number of results, I'm asking the community for help. I need the page four summary of the results screen. Please include the following:

  • What game mode you were playing (Co-Op, Random Battles, Ranked, Clan, etc)
  • Tell me if you won or lost.
  • Base experience values should be visible.
  • All credit earning modifiers should be visible. Make sure this section is fully expanded.

It should look something like this:
