So, I've started my first game as a garou, because I'm most familiar with that splat, and... apparently I can just have relations with other Garou without consequences? Like yeah, infidelity is still punished, but what happened to the Litany ("Garou Shall Not Mate With Garou")?

Like, it's genuinely hilarious how blatantly hypocritical and illogical the message is, bordering on facist imagery.
- I always knew that the worst danger for world peace was the german greens party.
- The movie starts with such a bad history lesson I'd mistake it for making fun of americans being uneducated in a different movie
- the only black guy of course dies immediatly
- the communists somehow land with paratroopers despite lacking air superiority, and immediatly start killing random people, as one does during an invasion, because fuck actually conquering anything, we're here to fire RPGs at school busses
- the american helicopter displays the impressive strategy of shooting rockets
Okay, so I'm finished with Johns interludes in Nona. Now, obviously, he's not neccisarily a reliable narrator, but considering that story is so damning I'll assume its accurate in it's broad strokes.
As we now know, John Gaius started a global nuclear war, consumed the souls of all people on earth, ascended to godhood, murdered the solar system, all because he was more interested in punishing the rich than in actually saving humanity (and they escaped, too, so his omnicide was for basically nothing). Which is horrible.
Ressurecting the human race for the sole purpose of finishing a job he failed at with his literal godlike powers and turning it into a perverse system that slowly murders th
Heavy spoilers for the Kingmaker adventure path, obviously.
So, I've read the entire AP in preparation for running it, and I'm kind of unclear on what exactly Nyrissa is going for with a lot of the things she does.
To summarize, Nyrissa is being punished for being arrogant and trying to ascend into the ranks of the Eldest (and all the things she did when the actual Eldest tried to stop her). To get forgiven she has to collect a thousend kingdoms, of which the Stolen Lands are the last. The problem: No kingdom in the Stolen Lands. The solution: Poke people until they form a kingdom, then collect that.
Meanwhile, she also has to recruit lieutenants (to anchor her demiplane and power the blo
So, as far as I understand it, the Holy Grail War is a complex magical ritual. You summon Servants, the Servants get killed by some means, their souls get collected and used to create a path to the Root, which allows the winning Master to get themselves and their decendants access to that fancy True Magic they can use to flex on all the other mages that have to live with only having the less cool magecraft.
Except... well, did that plan ever actually work out? As far as I know, bascially every time its used, something gets in the way - everybody dies, or the Grail gets destroyed, or something else prevents the ritual from fulfilling its purpose. So, did the Holy Grail War ever actually just
When trying to install the hmms library via pip as described on its website, I encounter the following error: link.
This happened on Ubuntu 22.04.55 LTS with Python 3.10.12. The problem doesn't seem to be with the library itself, as the installation went through on a Window 10 computer I tested it on, but rather with something about the setup of my linux. All requirements are installed. Does somebody have an idea what the problem might be?
As it turns out, one third was in camps, one third was in exile, and the last third, well, they offered heavy resistance.
So, I know that vampires are both very Banal and more often than not detect as Wyrmtainted. But is this overlap in enemies between Changelings and Garou consistent? Or are there things that are very Banal but benign from a werewolfs perspective, or things with little Banality that are very Wyrmish?
So, I'd really like to play Princess: The Hopeful one day. I've read the Dream version and the Chronicles of Darkness core book, but now I feel a bit lost and hope to find some inspiration of how to continue somewhere.
How do the different versions of the supplement compare to each other? Are some better/worse or do they simply favor different themes/playstyles?
Is there any content I could use beyond the supplement itself? Like, did somebody ever create a prewritten scenario, or write an AAR, or do an actual play/any kind of podcast about it? Or is there fanfiction or something? I guess what I'm looking for is examples of what kinds of situations and challenges could appear in a game of P
I mean yeah, they're ontologically evil monsters and all that, but how does that manifest itself? They don't need to eat humans, apparently, so what drives them?
So, they sleep in the same bed, they are mothers of the same girl and they clearly care about each other a lot, but they never kiss or mention being romantic partners. Is there any explicit mention of their relationship status or is it just strongly implied/left ambiguous?
I am, of course, talking about Lamashtu, the mother of monsters. I mean, I get where this was coming from when the first edition was originally created, but with the way the world has changed since then, I just don't buy into the idea any more. Just look at her Edicts:
bring power to outcasts and the downtrodden
This is straight up a good thing. Like, there is nothing evil here. You're helping the suffering.
indoctrinate children in Lamashtu’s teachings
Okay, this is self-serving, and kind of fucked up, but children of people worshipping good deities also get raised in that faith, so this is a fairly basic thing framed in an evil way.
