Az-laz was a pain in my side. An epic poisonous Olog Marauder Commander with a pile of immunities. He killed me several times. Once he even broke my sword. (Something I didn't even know could happen.)

But I persisted after him. Finally I got him down and was able to shame him into my level range. Which kinda worked. He became deranged. From this point on, all he could do is yell "TOO FULL! NO MORE FOOD! TOO FULL!"

After that, I managed to track him down again and recruit the half-wit. He became my ace in the hole and I had him betray his captains. After that he was positioned as 'bodyguard' to the Overlord.

Is Rogue Trader worth getting? There is significantly less scenery than the core box. I suppose it would be easy to pack up and transport vs packing up my core set scenery. (And the scenery would be hard to use with the core set stuff, too)

I also have zero interest in anything Nurgle. The starstriders are cool, but I dislike that they are monopose without options. I can run them in Kill Team or toss them in with my 40k Grey Knights I suppose.

What are your all thoughts? Will you be picking it up or giving it a pass?

EDIT: After much consideration, I decided to buy it. I'll keep the board, terrain, rules and sell both Kill Teams.

I've been picking up used models to make Kill Teams out of for the factions I've never tired before. I only have a single Stealth Suit, 5 pathfinders, and 3 fire warriors (Up to two more if I cast extra torsos out of greenstuff) and some sprues with left over bits. No drones. For my below list I have to cast one fire warrior torso.

What do you think? I have enough bits to change out the weaponry. If there's a drone I absolutely need, I suppose I could buy one off a bits site or something.

Anyone make Chaos Cultists out of Skitarii Rangers? I want some Thousand Sons cultists, and the regular ones look far too much like crazed Khornites.

I was thinking of replacing the heads with these https://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=102 and removing the backpacks or replacing them with Rubric backpacks and shaving off any Imperium or Mechanicus symbols. Maybe switch out their weapons with the Tzaangor pistol + chainswords.
