One thing that's been missing from my lighting setup is a good hair light for interviews and I'm thinking that an LED tube like the Soonwell Sensei 2ft would would be great for portability and size compared to a more traditional softbox.

Just want to know if LED tubes would work for hairlights or if they're too harsh. If so, are there any good brands and models to look at?

I've been watching the various members of the derps for almost a decade, going from watching UberhaxorNova from the Creatures to learning about Ze, then Chilled, then Galm and Smarty, and lastly Tom Fawkes. I’m looking at buying a classic as a future replacement for my touch but I’m accustomed to certain features that aren’t in the classics stock system like the ability to shuffle an album/playlist or listen to an entire artists library or genre at once instead of going album by album.

With Rockbox or iPod wizard, is there some enhanced firmware that allows for more playback options like that or are they mostly cosmetic overlays?

A few days ago, u/Ikgrge, a brand new account, made multiple "Chilled is a shitty person", "Chilled is the worst gamer alive" posts before deleting the posts while continuing to respond in the comments. During their rantings, they threatened, claiming it was their dream, to kidnap all of his friends, family, and Jess, and hold them hostage. They delete their comments after a few minutes.

Yesterday, the user u/flowers4shubble, started to respond to the same deleted post, continuing the "EVERYONE HATES CHILLED. HE NEEDS TO BE PUNISHED!" nonsense before deleting their comments and acting like they have no idea what is going on, that they haven't said anything because they deleted their comment

For the first time in my life, I'm wearing glasses for astigmatism and it's pretty disorienting.

Everything seems to be squished, which is causing my depth perseption to be off, making walking a slight challenge with steps, and my peripheral vision to be wonky. I've heard that in a week or so, it won't even be noticable but while my vision without glasses was pretty good, after only half a day, when I take them off, my vision is pretty bad; does this mean that as my eyes adjust to the glasses, my previous vision without them will just naturally get worse? Babou is suppose to be a x10 universal increase but the first time I leveled him up, nothing. Figured it was just my imagination but just leveled him up to lvl 3 for another 10x but...nothing.

With how slow this event is going and how everything else is basically a 2x, this glitch seems to be making the whole event impossible.

Is there any online resource for the art or assets for the game like backgrounds, main color palettes, or things of that nature? The most I've found are the color options of the beans but not the backgrounds and stages. I really love the look of the game, and usually stuff like this would be an artbooks for the games like they have for Splatoon but sadly...no artbook for FallGuys.

When we talk about game collecting, it seems like a majority of people are refering to PS1 era and earlier which is capable being played on most hacked systems ranging from the 3DS, Vita, and even the 360, and Switch.

With the constant raising prices of games, I'm wondering why do you personally choose to physically buy retro games rather than pirating them through roms? Do you just love the tactile feeling of sliding in the cartridge? Is it seeing physical boxes on a shelf? Or is it the visual aspect of a CRT display that a PS Vita can't replicate?

I'm just curious about what makes you so passionate enough in the hobby to spend the money over taking the easy route.

I stopped playing months back because of issues with hackers that would end up being AQ in the first hour of the event and just stay at the top and regularly finding situations where you need just one more agent card to automate that never pops up. Generally finding myself more frustrated at you have to get into an event with a formula and luck of "Don't start until x hours after, but don't wait y hours, don't do this, make sure to do this, doing this will make it impossible, etc.

I'm sure this is incredibly easy and I'm overlooking something but I can't seem to figure this out.

Basically I have a combo box in a form that lists employees and I want a checkbox that will only show the current/active employees in the dropdown.

I hope that this doesn't come across as gatekeeping or bashing on the hobby because it can be really fun but I think there are some things about game collecting that people that're new need to consider before getting into it.

The first thing is that it costs a lot of money. Unless you're looking to buy a handful of games from your childhood, then be prepared to spend a lot of money. The pictures that are shown of peoples gaming room with shelves of nicely organized games were either started decades ago or they devote a lot of their income into buying games. The price of most games have skyrocketed with even a basic game like Mario 3 for the NES has gone from maybe $10 for the cartridge

Jon had started posting to his YouTube channel again with Blaster Master, Super Adventure Island, VICE, and a few others but he hasn't uploaded anything in almost three months and in the middle of two playthroughs (Super Metroid and JSRF).

Has he mentioned on stream or somewhere about the hiatus?
