Woke up today with symptoms and ended up submitting a SD as I don't want to take chances. I thought long and hard about it whether I should take the chance as I'm in my last year and the course is required for graduation. I understand why students are going in with symptoms because it's honestly a lot of stress to have to worry about whether you're going to get a chance to write your exam before any deadlines.

I hope UBC switches over because if my test comes back positive I definitely was exposed during an exam environment as those were my only public outings.

Does anyone know if students will be able to apply? I lost my upcoming internship and have a year round contract.

I had secured a job back in Janurary that was set to start soon. I had already signed documents (contracts for employment, confidentiality agreements etc). Just recently I received notice that my job offer was being rescind due the COVID-19 Pandemic, (received written letter due to my original contract stating any changes to employment terms needed to be in writing). I am wondering If I will qualify for the CERB as I am now without work for reasons out of my control and will not earn income for the foreseeable future. I should also note that I made over $5000 last year.

Has anybody had any experience in taking time off for work experience. I am not in the engineering co op program but recently got offered a 4 month internship. This would be my first term of work experience and I was wondering if anyone else decided to not join co op and take on work terms through the winter semester. Is the work experience considered for experience during school? Is there any problems with continuing your courses?
