I’ve had speech issues for a while, a lot of which are anxiety / ADHD related. Nothing too obstructive, just occasional stuttering, troubling articulating sentences and occasionally words would swap places (example, instead of saying “hi how’s it going” it would come out “how’s it hi going? Etc)

Since 2020, my social interactions have been pretty minimal. I used to go out with friends a lot, go out for drinks once a week, hit up local shows / concerts every now and again. All of those are pretty far and between nowadays and I feel like my speech is suffering because of it.

Forming a simple sentence feels like I’m playing a rushed game of Tetris. I’ve always had to rehearse what I’m *plann

Edit: not on a C-PAP yet but am awaiting delivery of my machine.

What’s the best method to maintaining a healthy brain when working around sleep apnea? My ADHD can be troublesome on its own but if I’m underslept, it’s usually worse (some days I can focus just fine on four hours of sleep and some days I need 8-10 just to function properly)

Is it best to allow myself to sleep as needed or take a brief nap during the day to salvage my mental energy or should I be pushing myself a little harder to wake up, get the day started regardless and aim to only sleep at night?

I’m talking powered mashed potatoes that only require water, cake / bread mixes with only a few needed ingredients, or even Stove Top stuffing. I actually cook with powdered mashed potatoes all the time cause I’m a lazy fuck but do these foods hold out good 6-12 months past their expiration? I could imagine they’d just lose some texture or “fluff” to the breads but I’m unsure of whether there’s any risks behind eating expired powdered foods.

As a kid I always romanticized the idea of having a little collection of letters, cards and such to memorialize past lovers, summer flings and partners. I envisioned myself as an old man rummaging through an old box in the attic and taking that stroll down memory lane recounting decade old experiences with my high school sweet heart, cheap dates in my twenties and yada yada yada.

Now as a 26 year old man, I find myself thinking; do I really need to hang on to that letter I got from a girl when I was 16? Do I really give a shit to cherish the memory of my toxic ex? Why do I still have a cute note written to me by somebody I was seeing casually?

On one hand I feel silly for having them and q

I really don’t know why, it could be an ADHD, OCD or anxiety related issue but whenever plans don’t go accordingly, I find that I get really mopey and brood about it. I catastrophize things in my head a lot so whenever minor inconveniences come along (say, someone’s running late) I’m pretty much in my head like “welp, plans are fucking ruined now and I want to go home.” Doesn’t anybody else deal with this and know how to chill the fuck out? I have to try really hard to hide it when with my partner but even she can tell when I’m being pouty lol

It’s always these law of the jungle, chest pounding pseudo alpha bros that hit the wall the hardest because they never allowed themselves the humanity of being vulnerable to mental illness. They’ll always say they don’t “believe” in depression, anxiety etc until they’ve burn out, made a menace out of themselves and spiraled out of control.

If you don’t know how to navigate, process, understand or cope with your thoughts and emotions, you’re only doing yourself a disservice. These behavioral patterns combined with an unwarranted sense of inflated ego leads so many men down the rabbit hole of addiction, mental illness and suicide.

As men, we gotta stop accepting this bottom of the barrel bit

I see this a lot on TikTok, where a cute, happy and in love couple will do something kinda mushy or maybe they’re pampering their partner in some type of way and there’s just these hordes of lonely fucking incels (men AND women) or feminist acting like showing affection in public or spoiling your significant other is something to be embarrassed about; you’re either a simp or submitting to patriarchy by treating your partner nice these days, apparently. Does everybody live their fucking lives as if they’ll have to answer to it on social media 5 years from now? Like, what you’re afraid you’ll look foolish for being happy in a relationship that for whatever reason, may not have worked out in th

Does Microdosing dilute trips?

Question: Psilocybin

I want to start microdosing again but I also want to have regular trips every 2-3 weeks. Trips have definitely proven to be beneficial to my overall mental health and microdosing I feel most noticeably helped bring back my creativity. Question is, can I do both without compromising the integrity of bi-weekly trips?
