medication becoming less effective

Questions/Advice/Support

Hey :)

Can anyone help with their experience or advice on medication becoming less effective really quickly? I've been working my way up through elvanse starting at 10mg, now just starting 60mg.

When I started 50mg the first couple of days I thought " yes this is it, this is working" etc, then a week or two in I don't really notice the same feeling. Started 60mg today and same good feeling day one.

Any ideas? Is this an indication the dose is still not right or just the wrong meds?

Thanks :)

medication advice please

Questions/Advice/Support

Hey everyone. Ive recently had my dose increased to 54mg from 36mg as I wasn't feeling much benefit on 36 as part of my titration.

I'm taking my pill at 8 in the morning when I have breakfast, by 11 ish I start to feel pretty rubbish, like a big caffeine crash, tired and function goes waaay down. I eat at lunch and I come back to normal, followed by the same happening at around 3-4.

Ive been trying to loose a fair bit of weight for the last year so have a structured diet as it's the only way I manage to stick to it.

Has anyone had similar experiences or any suggestions. Do I need to eat more frequently to keep going or is this a sign my dose is too high and I should look to trying a diff

Starting at 18mg of methylphenidate

Questions/Advice/Support

Hey 👋

Ive just has my first titration appointment with my Dr and I'm set to start on 18mg of methylphenidate for 4 weeks, then move up to 36mg.

Is this normal when starting meds? This is the first of any I'm trying and the Dr said I am unlikely to see any response from them, and it's more of a test to see how my body reacts?

Is this all standard ?

Thank you.

Hey,

was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am trying to sort some data in simulink. I have a big matrix/array which has increasing current values on the top row, increasing RPM on the first column and then corresponding torques achievable at each iteration or RPM and current filling the array/matrix.

I need to find a way where i can input an RPM and a torque and matlab/simulink can tell me its position in the matrix/array. I can then match this position up with an identical matrix/array which contains an efficiency value i need. Ive been going in circles today and being new to both matlab and simulink i am lost.

Please help haha
