Okay so those who’ve experienced flare ups after getting COVID: how long after you were sick did your graves kick up?

I’ve been in remission for about one year. I got COVID four days ago. I still have body pain, somewhat elevated heart rate, & some dizziness. Curious if I’m headed into a graves flare up since getting COVID is what did it last time or if I’m paranoid and still just sick.

Im going to line up some bloodwork for next week but I’m curious what the time line looks like for others.

I used a ball recipe for applesauce and I should’ve let it cook longer I guess but it came out seeming watery? It looked great right after canning but it’s been on the shelf for a month and now it looks like a bit of liquid is at the top and the rest has settled down. Otherwise seems good just curious if anyone else has come across this.

I wore my first often and I have a woven wrap and a lillebaby buckle carrier. I never tried breastfeeding with him but with my second I want to but I don’t know where to start. Any advice/tips/how tos?

Hello! I’m a relative novice to the no lawn movement and as we have an acre and I’m struggling to keep up with what I have going currently I wondered if anyone had suggestions for a seed mix to fill in dead patches of lawn. I was looking for something low mow and/or something with a flowering element. I’m in Lancaster county, PA. I have a large wildflower section in the back and since this is in the front it needs to be more “standard” seeming in terms of height at least. Thank you!

Has anyone every breastfed a younger baby while taking Methimazole or PTU? I breastfed my son while on Methimazole however he was nearly one so he was only feeding 2x a day. The lactation consultants at my pediatricians office are fine with it as long as baby tolerates it well so I’m really just looking for experiences/advice/what others have done.

For reference: I’ve been in remission since shortly before my currently pregnancy but I would expect a relapse sometime after baby is here. My highest dose previously was 20 mg/day and my lowest was 2.5 mg 3x a week.

I bought two thirsties covers (size 2) about 1 year ago. Both covers have lost a snap from the waist. Does anyone have any idea if there’s a way to fix this and also has anyone else had this problem?

Hi everyone, I currently have several carriers and would like to add one more for our new baby due in the late summer. I didn’t baby wear much with my first until 4-5 months because I didn’t know how but now we use them all the time & I wish I had started sooner!

I use the oscha & ring sling, my husband only uses the Lille baby

We will have a two (almost thee) yr old when baby is born and I would consider something so I could tandem.

We have a second baby coming in the summer and I need to crowd source recommendations for bassinets. We had a SNOO with our first and hated it. Hated it so so much. We then switched my son to a crib which resulted in no more than 2 hr stretches until it turned into a floor bed then he slept great. So I’m keeping the floor bed set up but I’m not sure what to do for the first few months. Also about 60% of our issues with the snoo we’re glitches so maybe something not too high tech.

We’re pregnant with a second child (& don’t know boy/girl) and we’re struggling with even starting to find names this time around. Our son is Elwood Orion but goes by El so it would have to flow with that.

The only names suggested to us so far that we kind of like are Simon & Crosby for a boy and Maude or Harriett for a girl. We don’t both like any of them. Any suggestions to get us really started would be super helpful!

Hi everyone! I have been water bath canning for a few years and would like to experiment with pressure canning. I have a glass stove top so I was wondering if anyone has experience with some sort of electric pressure canner or some other set up? Or if you just pressure can on your glass stove top?
