This is really silly. I want to play in windowed mode so that I can seamlessly switch between monitors to use the web on my second screen without the game getting minimized. It runs fine, but while windowed, unless I drop the resolution a ton, the bottom of my screen cuts off, thanks to the window title bar that gets unnecessarily added to the top.

If anyone else is playing in windowed mode with success, can you offer some tips to fix this issue? Thanks!

I wanted to give shaders a try on my computer to see how it looks (I think I finally have a computer that might be able to handle them), but I’ve always been pretty hesitant downloading mods for minecraft or any other game, because I’m wary of malware and other possible risks.

I was just trying to do some research, and I found that there’s a site dedicated to listing bad sites that repost mods for either ad revenue or to distribute malware, which is great (stopmodreposts.org). But I kind of got lucky finding it because one of my google searches had a top hit for a site that shows up on that list. I just read a bunch of comments on this post, and there are people claiming load times pushing up to an hour. Other people are saying “upgrade your RAM” as a solution to bring 20 minute load times down under 5 minutes... 5 minute load times is not the benchmark you should be aiming for in 2020. This legitimately makes my head hurt to even think about.

Please, get an SSD to replace or supplement your HD. Even with all of the official expansions and tons of CC, there is no reason your game should load up in anything longer than 30 seconds to maybe a minute, max, if you otherwise meet or exceed the minimum system requirements.

Hello everyone. You may have read my other post eight months ago that went into great detail pulling quotes and comparing Seth's shadow charmer abilities as presented in Fablehaven ("FH") vs Dragonwatch ("DW") (especially book 2), using multiple direct quotes. I have now just finished reading DW book 3 ("DW3") (took me a while, I know...), and I wanted to make a follow-up, mostly because of one particular new quote from DW3. Last night I got a primal Band of Might from reforging (still slowly going through those bounty mats I got). Thorns on secondary is a bummer, but still very happy with it.

I had been using one with 74% on the legendary. I knew that was a lot of toughness lost, but I didn’t do the math until I got this ring. Turns out I had been giving up ~30% toughness on that stat alone. Whoops!

I mean, I know how to click on someone and start a trade, but I have absolutely zero idea on what constitutes a fair price for anything. Like I want to get an arachnid mesh belt, which the internet tells me shouldn’t be too terribly expensive. But what even is expensive? I presume my noob treasury measures by a different stick for now.

So, is there a resource for estimating prices of things? I’m on Ladder US east, by the way.

I'm having problems with my network card just stopping working constantly. Disabling and re-enabling it from Device Manager allows me to reconnect temporarily. I have the latest driver. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.

My current card is a Qualcomm Atheros QcA61x4A, the default card that came with my Acer v5-591G-55PV laptop.

From my searching, I believe that this card I found on Amazon will fit as a replacement, but I'm not sure how to confirm that. So three questions:

1. Will that card fit as a replacement for my existing (dying) wireless network adapter card?
