My guild found out I raid midcore (corrected from hardcore) in FF14 and encouraged me to attend try-outs for their heroic squad next tier. However, they set a 405 ilvl cutoff to be allowed to try-out.
I have my 2 toons at ~395 ilvl. Could someone help me make a plan to hit 405 by the try out date? I'm trying to understand if its even 1) possible 2) reasonable amount of play time.
My understanding is that starting today, I would need to PUG heroic this week and next week and hope for gear. And then grind M+ as much as possible (the guild people offered to help carry/run dungeons to get me going when they're around).
So if I'm to understand this correctly, as long as I hit the
I’m at my wits end.
Since March my downstairs neighbor has played a disruptive level of music throughout the day because he mixes using studio monitors.
When I first moved in I exchanged numbers because I have a dog with a loud bark.
Over the last 2 months I’ve tried working something out with him because I work from home 3-5 days a week.
Every attempt to have him work with me or turn it down has been declined by him.
I have a noise log 2 pages long with times and descriptions.
I began contacting the leasing office after he turned it up even louder following a text requesting for him to turn the noise level down.
From that point forward I blocked his number and started submitting
All,
I’m coming up on 2 years as a CR2 at a large university site.
I got into clinical research more by chance than by choice at the end of grad school when my father entered hospice care and needed to be taken care of. At the time I was entertaining continuing my grad work. But my mom and dad needed my support financially and logistically at home so I graduated with my masters and got a job as a CR2 to help out. The job has had good flexibility, and it was a godsend during his hospice care.
However, I feel like I don’t have great perspective on my options to advance my career. I’ve begun to feel a bit trapped. The staff where I am is phenomenal to work with. The pay isn’t. I know I’m
So I'm confused. Does legion time walking need to be on for me to get the fel-bear appearance? Does it need to be legion dungeon time walking, or is there a specific mage tower time walking? or can I go do it anytime? every article is from a while ago, and I can't find a current explanation for 2023. Thanks in advance friends.
Hope this is ok to ask. I was able to complete abyssos savage with my static this tier. I’m a filthy double dipper with ff14 and wow, but never raided seriously in wow. Just a casual Andy who usually did casual content and rated pvp.
How realistic- assuming I can find a group to take me- is it to be able to handle mythic raiding in wow? Assume I’m able to have an equal skill level on my ff14 job on wow class.
If I was able to prog and raid lead a group to clear abyssos would it be realistic to do mythic in wow? Or is heroic more on par? I know it’s not a one to one comparison. But is it a similar bar to performance in terms of prep, consistency, and time commitment.
Hope it’s okay to a
I started this current character as a stealth pistol and intelligence build. Early game quick hacks helped me be able to take out enemies when my guns weren’t strong enough to one tap them with head shots. My original plan was to avoid combat quick hacks and focus on control/stealth quick hacks. I.e. whistle, ping, reboot optics, etc. but no short circuit.
However as I’ve gotten stronger guns and more perks within reflex and the cool trees I’m finding I don’t need any quick hacks to take out enemies or remain undetected.
Most encounters boil down to me just using my stealth pistol. I don’t find that I need to use reboot optics, whistle, takedowns, hide bodies, etc.
In an effort to mak
I think this is pretty straightforward to ask. I'm not street cred 20, yet so I can't test this, but do I need to invest any points into the brawler tree if I'm using punching with gorilla arms as a backup weapon to an annihilation shotgun build?
The idea is to go roughly something like: 18 body, 18 reflexes, 18 tech, 1X cool, 3 intel. respectively leveling up in a 2(body)-1(ref)-2(tech)-1(cool)-0(intel) pattern.
I generally like to give my builds options for combat so that it doesn't become too binary and stale. Gorilla arms would be used if I get cornered or get stuck trying to reload at a bad time. I want to live out that sort of vanguard playstyle from ME2/3.
However, I realize tha
Sorry for the long post. I wanted to give context. If it looks to long skip to the last paragraph. Thanks so much for your time.
I’m a site RC at the moment. But it seems a bit dead end- at least in my department. I’m getting drip fed regulation experience and not getting a ton of drug trial specific responsibilities at 1 year in. I keep getting promises to solo do drug trials, but my manager and boss keep putting me into recruitment and clinic presence duties for recruitment and other side projects outside of drug trials.
They seem to really like me here, and I’ve gotten good feed back from the PI and my manager.

EDIT1: Grammar and structure.
I’m currently a crc2 at an academic site. I’ve been here a year and I’m rather miserable. The poor work environment is stemming from poor management, lack of workload, and lack of professional development opportunities (I'm just not getting valuable work experience, being assigned trivial admin tasks, etc.). My pay isn’t great either, but I took what I could get since pandemic hiring issues were still occurring when I was applying at the end of grad school. Without bitching more, it’s to the point I need to switch jobs for my own sanity.
Conceptually I like the idea of being clinical research. I love my patients, I like my coworkers (as people; but not as cow
Seems there are bugs with some weapon scalings... have they acknowledged this anywhere. Just got >!Eleonora's polearm!< and noticed it has 0 + stats in the scaling column. A quick google shows there are a couple of other weapons that are having this issue as well (saw there was an issue with an intelligence straight sword as well as a greatsword).
I was kinda confused why >!Eleonor !<did no damage to me with their weapon during her >!invasion, !<but could one-shot me with her incantation.
I'm not noticing the issue with other weapons I have at the moment. But figured I'd make a thread for visibility. Feel free to comment below with weapon names if the bug exists on ot
Has anyone had any luck finding one of these but for the right hand? I have a friend who was in an industrial accident and would greatly benefit from the below concept but for his right hand. Is there any peripheral manufacturer that offers a right-handed version?
