Is there a good up to date guide on the Tanzimat reforms? I'm hoping to join a MP server as the Ottomans and obviously want to succeed.

I don't anticipate that I'll have too much trouble with separatism, army reform, or reclaiming Syria. However, I doubt the other GP players will allow me to get Egypt too or at least I can't count on it. That means I need to be able to get Urbanization or education (both feel like a reach) or bureaucratic reform. I used to be able to do this reliable but in the patch I'm having a lot of trouble in my test runs with bad debate rolls and powerful Local Governor movements countering my fledgling rural folk or intelligentsia.

After reading the new stuff about Jon's parentage I thought it'd be a fun run, but when Jon came of age the decision was not there.

I am trying to trigger the Paris Commune Journal Entry but can't find how to get it anywhere. I have researched socialism and gotten Paris in turmoil but don't get the entry. I tried pissing off some interest groups but it triggered a normal revolution.

What is the timeline for a targ invasion after Robert wins? I'm playing a game and hoping to join them when they invade but it's currently 338 AC and nothing.

Is it possible to intentionally provide an uprising to join it? Particularly I want to spark a black revolt I'm the South as either the Confederacy or United States to play as New Afrika without simply releasing.

I'm playing Germany in a current game and ran into a problem. It's only around 1875, I've been Germany for close to 20 years, and I'm out of people. My economy is as automated as it can be, I've got some space for growth in the colonies, but I'm practically out of peasants in the homeland.

I'm trying to stay more conservative and not embrace multiculturalism and avoid going 100% wholesome liberal democracy for role play purposes. I keep shrinking construction sector and replacing their jobs with whatever resources I need, but I often see people on here with much larger construction sectors who seem to be thriving far later in the game. Am I missing something?

I got a bug during my current Yugoslavia run in which Croatia has just stopped showing up for the minigame. Is there any event I can trigger via console to bump their loyalty by 1 so I can take the focus to end the minigame?

I'm doing a Fengitan. During the Unification Conference I got Shanxi, the feds, and Song to come. I caved to the demands of the feds and Song and took an anti-concessionist stance. I don't get any further events about the success OR failure of the Conference but the focus tree only lets me do the conquest path. Is this a bug? Bad-luck? I feel like there should at least be a notification that the Conference failed.

So my I just cleaned my cat's litter box after 3-4 days (I know not great but we've barely been home). When I did there was poop but no pee. We have a relatively small apartment so we'd smell it if she had peed anywhere else.

She is acting totally normal, eating, drinking, playing, etc.

I'm picturing something like a western revolver but with the sort of flat design of flintlock pistols. The unique thing about the weapon is that it connects to a gauntlet that draws the wearers blood into the weapon through external tubes to power bloodhunter abilities. Maybe some magical runes to seal in the blood magic.

Has there been any word about whether a country can have multiple claimants to the throne? I'm think of France where monarchists would not be united in who should sit the throne. Will there be mechanics for resotring the Bonaparte's instead of the Orleans or Bourbons? Or will there just be generally moanrchists?

I'm playing as the PSA and its just me and Mac at the Mississippi. Its been some time since the other factions surrendered but I haven't gotten anything about the ceasefire yet. Do I have to trigger it somehow? Did Mac reject it before I got anything? Can I just use tools to force peace and get the events to reconcile?

Pretty new to the game an saw that a new DLC dropped and picked it up. Wanted to play as the Minotaur guy. When I was checking out his start, I noticed I can't recruit the 3 other legendary lords because it says I am lacking a DLC. I have almost all the DLCs for the game. Is this like mortal empires where I need to own something from the first game to play it?

So I'm trying to invade East Francia as Haestin with the Adventurer CB. I've occupied a lot territory, the de jure capital, and the de facto capital but war score is still ticking down. What do I need to occupy to stop this? Surely not the whole kingdom?
