Hi all! I finally bought my first yarn hank of fingering weight. Just curious as to what you guys made with that kind of yarn? I was suppose to use it while learning knitting and make socks... but that's still a long way off. LOL wanted to ask for suggestion on what I can possibly crochet with it. Thank you!

Also... I might have bought too many of them. Definitely need to find a crochet project for it.

Hi all! I've always been interested in knitting but need a bit of help.

Can someone please recommend me a good brand of needles? I made a mistake of buying cheap sets of hooks which I eventually never touched, when I bought my clover set. As much as possible I'd like to own needles that I don't that I need to replace lateron. Price is no issue.

I also read on reddit that it would be best to only buy 1 set of knitting needles rather than set, how does one know which size to get? πŸ€”

I hoarded alot of carron cakes πŸ˜‚ so i have tons of yarns. Does anyone have a favorite youtube site that teaches left handed people. And a simple project that's a wearable.... are making socks hard? 🫣

Hey all.

This is my first time doing this. I'm trying to understand how to do this.

It says to make 6 chain stitch.

R1 says 4 SC (which uses 4 holes) 3sc in a CH (1 hole) 3sc (3 holes) inc ( hole) 12 count

Not sure how to make that fit in 6 chain stiches. Am I suppose to crochet around like a circle?

I just received a bunch of cosmetics and moisturizers... I was just wondering if you guys keep your products in their original boxes? Like do you just remove them, user the product then place it back on the box?
Most of the time I keep makeup palette boxes just so that I know the name of the eyeshadows but for facial care stuff, I throw away the box. Just wondered if anyone does the same :)

Hi guys, just wanted to know what kind of treats do you guys use when you want to reward your dog or when your trying to train them to do something . Previously I've always been using Blue Buffalo Chicken Bits Dog Treats or the Blue Buffalo Beef Bits Dog Treats but I've heard some disturbing news about the Blue Buffalo brand and I want to veer away these 2 momentarily.

But so far they're the only ones that seems to have a good balance of price vs amount of treats each bag has. So I wanted to know if you guys have any suggestion on other treats that I can feed my puppy? something that has a lot of "pieces" per pack but at the same time affordable?

Puppy going up the stairs

Training Assistance

Hi guys!

Just need a bit of advice on how to train your puppy to go up the stairs "slowly". I have a 5 month old mini schnauzer and she used to have no problem going up the stairs. But lately she's been whining about going up. I'm assuming because the stairs is made from laminated wood and it a bit slippery. I'm buying anti-slip threads to put in the stairs to fix that problem but the issue that I have is that she "gallops" or she makes a running start and jumps over 1-2 stairs at a time. I always get a heart attack when i hear some sort of crash because she's too "excited" or fast going up the stairs. I'm trying to teach her to go up slowly so that she wouldn't injure myself but so far I h

Puppy tricks

Training Assistance

Hi guys, I have a mini schnauzer who's 4 months old and she's really good at learning tricks. The thing is that she seems to be more "gesture" oriented than "word" oriented in distinguishing from one trick to another. She does excellent when you have hand gestures for every trick but I want to transition to word commands ex. "sit" "play dead" etc. Do you guys have tips on how to completely phase out hand gestures and change to words? I tried to keep on repeating words and have her do multiple tricks but she seems to be memorizing the sequence instead of recognizing the word itself. haha

Hi guys, Looking for a good highland or medieval romance novel. Something preferably with horses. LOL. Don't ask me why :) I was just daydreaming about hero or the heroine riding horses. Not a major factor though. Good highlander/medieval romance would be enough. I've read most of Julie Garwood's books. If you can suggest something with the same feel that would be great. Thanks in advance.
