I notice that people on this sub frequently claim that AI needs more regulations to be morally and environmentally acceptable. For the people viewing this post, where do you think the line should be drawn?

Let us say that somehow, someway, 100 mice got locked into a cage with a hyperactive shrew. There's a decent amount of space, like 3 meters on either side.

Round #1: Neither side is blood-lusted and are behaving relatively normally given the circumstances.

Round #2: The shrew is blood-lusted.

Round #3: The mice and shrew are blood-lusted.

Bonus Round: The mice are given human-like intelligence and are allowed to draft a plan before going up against a blood-lusted shrew.

It’ll be great not to hear the stomps of my upstairs neighbors at night.

I guess I kind of want to get this off my chest. I’ve told my roommate over 24 times in the past 6 months to turn down his music at night. Doesn’t sound like much but each time I tell him, he’ll forget and play it again, waking me up at 2-4am. In the daytime, I don’t normally say anything, but I always get annoyed at hearing the same songs in the background. Earplugs and headphones (I plan to get noise cancelling ones soon) are commonplace for me as a result.

Today I got upset and decided if my roommate wasn’t going to user headphones then why should I? So I blasted my music at the same volume he does. Big mistake I suppose because I realize my roommate could in fact, turn up his music even
