Morning blossoms in the daze I’m in.
She tries to hide, I don’t know why…
Yet I see where she is: Under the covers
like my bed is not mine but all hers.
Light touches me; Not in the mood for light.
In darkness where I truly shine, she knows,
I rest my life inside her hair and there I dream.
Let space be shared, in it I barely move.
Not tied, but of my own free will:
I offer to you all, yet you deny, I see,
the same you want to offer me.
But honestly, here is my truth:
Today, can we forget this power play?
I’m facing you, to say:
A numbered name is what I crave.
So… will you be kind?
And leave all of your love behind?
