First page of this thread:

https://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/4469407-To-say-that-reading-on-a-kindle-is-NOT-screen-time

"My DD's kindle fire is limited to 30 minutes a day (and she has to do 15 minutes of TT rockstars first because I'm mean like that). Her 'proper' kindle is unlimited and is in no way counted a screen time. She's often curled up in the corner with either her kindle or an actual book and possibly the only problem is her vocabulary at 6, is so extensive it rivals mine!"

I think you'll have to go some way to beat this one, in response to a thread about having a scaled down Christmas:

It sounds like you're just hoping to do what most people do for Christmas anyway and make it about the people rather than the gifts. It's a shame if your previous Christmases haven't been like that.

So I have had a bit of a complex about my appearance for years (since I was 18) I am now 28, basically it’s because I look young for my age. I’m in a committed relationship and we own a house together and are thinking of starting a family. My partner can’t wait to have kids and although I know I want them, I can’t help but feel hesitant because the fact I look young for my age is holding me back! I just cant stop feeling people will judge me and ask me how old I am because I look too young to be pregnant. The whole pregnancy puts me

Can't do links but it's in AIBU and is titled, At what point does porn become extreme or weird?

I guess I'm looking for opinions of Mumsnet rather than advice as I know that there is a broad church of people on here and am aware that this is probably going to elicit some strong views on both sides but here goes...

Me and my DP have always enjoyed an openly sexual relationship and with that comes a lot of things we like to explore and experiment with together. That includes with other people/partners (together though, never on our own) and all kinds of fetishes and and kinks. One thing we love to do together is watch porn as we find it a great way to explore things we can take and experimen

DDIJ:

I don't go anywhere or come into contact with anybody so there is no point in me having it. Waste of public money on me.

Concerned poster asks if DDIJ has ever started a thread seeking support.

DDIJ (at 15:22):

'I neither require nor deserve help or support.'

Concerned poster: 'Your posts scream out that you want people to ask why you have so little regard for yourself, but fair enough if you don’t actually want help yet. I hope you seek help when you feel ready. I wish you well.'

For context my neighbour is a very well spoken ~55 year old male, who has a habit of spinning a yarn: 'I'd rate my Mandarin 9/10.', 'When I was director of an asset finance company in XXX...', 'My brother is a 'Chief Superintendent.', 'Daddy lives in Primrose Hill', 'Kids won a scholarship to best private school in Australia' etc. To paint a full picture, he lives in reasonably cheap rented accommodation.

I've always wondered why he volunteers such specific information out of context, but I listen politely and have always been neighbourly towards him - allowing him to use our outdoor tap

Not really an AIBU but posting here for traffic - name changed because, well, this is weird and embarrassing and it isn't the first time it's happened and I want to know if it's ever happened to any of you:

Last night I had a really bad, very vivid, dream about my best friend who's recently had a baby, whereby she collapsed and was taken to hospital leaving me to look after her newborn - cue me wandering around her "house" looking for a loo as I needed to pee....

You can guess what's coming can't you; I dreamt I'd found a loo and proceeded to relieve myself, then woke up realising I'd ACTUALLY PEE'D blush j
